Immigration, Infiltration and Canada’s Growing Islamist Threat
If you only read one article in this week’s Newsletter, please make sure it is this interview with David Harris, former head of Strategic Planning at CSIS, and Jerry Gordon.
Gordon:  If the rise of Islamization continues, what do you see as the future of Canada’s peaceable kingdom?
Harris:  If current trends persist, wholesale infiltration of Canada by radical and extremist Islamic ideologies and people, will continue apace, and the country’s future will be one of division, upheaval, and tragedy.

How the Vietnam War brought us to Quebec – this is a beautiful story of Immigration at its very best!

Twenty-one years after we came to Quebec, my wife and I now look at our sons and see how through their hard work they are contributing to the general welfare of this Belle Province and this wonderful country, Canada. Every day, through this very same hard work, they are also expressing our sincere thanks for our new lives here.

Beyond Omar Khadr: Enforce Canadian Residency and Citizenship Regulations

As Canadians deeply concerned with public safety and national security, we demand federal action in investigating and acting upon residents and citizens who have misrepresented their ties to terrorist and fundamental organizations to gain entry and/ or citizenship in Canada.

The Mega Mosques Boom
From Markham in Canada down to New York City, and from the West Midlands in the United Kingdom to Sydney, Australia; cities around the world are facing the same threats to their communities. For Muslim states the mega mosque is a tool of power giving them the ability to centralize control of overseas Muslims with a single facility in a single city. For non-Muslim countries, the mega mosque is a center of subversion and terrorism.

France: Muslims who attacked police refused to recognize French law

As the number of Muslims in France and other Western countries continues to rise, we will see more and more of this rejection of Infidel law. Muslims will demand more and more accommodation to Sharia, and increasingly ignore the laws of the secular society -- and once their numbers grow large enough, some of these Muslims will attempt to impose Sharia in its entirety upon the Infidel polity.

Egypt's Sixty Years of Misery
Last week marked 60 years since Egypt's self-proclaimed Free Officers overthrew the constitutional monarchy of King Farouq – and the first anniversary when one can imagine the demise of the military despotism that so long has wounded the country. Sadly, its most likely replacement will bring on an even worse rule.

Criticizing Religion (Read: Islam) May Become a U.S. Criminal Offense

The Assistant Attorney General’s refusal to answer Rep. Frank's question, which would guarantee Americans their constitutional right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression, is a reflection of where this international resolution is heading.

However, Free Speech has its Limits:

Last summer a rabidly anti-Jewish demonstration was held by local Shia Muslim organizations at Queen's Park to commemorate 'al Quds Day', an event in the Shia calendar initiated by the Ayatollah Khomeini to gain support for the destruction of the Jewish state and the liberation of the Holy Land of Israel from the Jews, to be replaced by an Islamic state under Shariah law.

Dalton McGuinty, Premier
Legislative Building
Queen's Park
Toronto ON M7A 1A1                                         July 30, 2012

Dear Premier McGuinty,

I am writing to inform you and request that the Government of Ontario take every step possible to prevent the approval of an application by a virulently anti-Israel group to hold an antisemitic hate rally at Queen's Park on August 18, 2012, similar to one held on the lawn of the Ontario legislature in August of 2011.

Ontarians were shocked and embarrassed that a blatantly antisemitic event was held at the seat of the provincial government featuring a hate monger like Zafar Bangash, a notorious supporter of the vicious Iranian dictatorship which persecutes and murders dissidents and minorities. At last year's event, Mr. Bangash called for a Jihad against Jerusalem whereby Islamic law would be imposed upon Israel; he was in fact captured on video at the rally shouting, "Inshallah I see that day when we, the Muslims, will march on Palestine and liberate Palestine . . .  under Islamic law." There is every reason to believe this year's event would feature similar messages of hate.

In an alarming new development, another 'al Quds Day' rally at Queen's Park was just announced by a group calling itself the 'al Quds Committee'.

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center believes that while free speech is an essential component of a democratic society, the Provincial government should not sanction organizations calling for war, death and hate towards Jews by permitting the use of public property for such a purpose; we urge you ensure this application is turned down before the Office of the Sergeant at Arms issues an approval.

Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to contact me should you need further details about this urgent matter.

Sincerely,

Avi Benlolo,
President and CEO
Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies
