I don't believe that anyone prefers war." (Testimony Before Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, 2/4/14)  Sherman: "Tehran is not open for business ... It doesn't matter whether the countries are friend or foe -- if they evade our sanctions, we will sanction them." (Testimony Before Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, 2/4/14)  U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry: French business delegation's visit to Iran "was 'not helpful' in sending the message that 'it is not business as usual' with Iran." (Cyril Julien, Agence France-Presse, "French Business Push In Iran Draws US Sanctions Warning," 2/4/14)  Said UANI CEO, Ambassador Mark D. Wallace: We applaud Undersecretary Sherman for disavowing previous Obama administration comments characterizing those who support new Iran sanctions or oppose the Geneva deal as secretly seeking war with Iran. Undersecretary Sherman finally clarified that U.S. lawmakers in Congress are not warmongers -- a dramatic departure from earlier comments. We hope this puts to an end the series of inappropriate statements by the administration. We further applaud Undersecretary Sherman and Secretary Kerry for stating that Iran has not reopened for business. We look forward to the Obama administration living up to its promise to aggressively enforce sanctions.
