Everyone is concerned about Islamic “extremism”, yet no one is allowed to talk about it.

A recent study has found that both Republicans and Democrats are worried about Muslims and Islam.

On the rightwing side of things, the majority of Republicans express concern over Muslim violence and have more negative than positive views regarding Islam. However, a significant amount of Democrats on the leftwing side are also worried. Despite these findings, any legitimate discussion regarding Muslim immigration, Islam and the connection between Muslim terrorism and the religion itself, or mosques and imams inciting violence, is automatically shut down and labeled as “Islamophobia.”

The findings of two separate studies by the Pew Research Center were as follows:
  • “82% of Republicans are “very concerned” about the rise of Islamic extremism in the world, compared with 60% of political independents and 51% of Democrats. Similarly, two-thirds of Republicans (67%) say that Islam is more likely than other religions to encourage violence among its believers, compared with 47% of independents and 42% of Democrats.”
  • Among both Democrats and Republicans, their “warmest” feelings were towards Christians and Jews. (This result should not be surprising considering the religious make-up of the country. Christians of course are in the majority, and though Muslims now comprise a larger population than Jews, Judaism and Christianity share a common sense of morality, i.e., The Ten Commandments.)
  • Among Republicans, Muslims were viewed more negatively than any other religious group and Atheists, who were viewed only slightly more positively than Muslims.
  • Among Democrats, Muslims were also viewed negatively. The only groups viewed more negatively by Democrats than Muslims were Mormons and Atheists, and all three of these groups were in a close race for the winning title of the worst of all.
  • Buddhists and Hindus were viewed more positively than Evangelical Christians by Democrats, but Catholics were viewed very warmly, only second to Jews.
The cooler feeling toward Evangelicals can be explained by the constant battle between the “Evangelical Right” and the liberal front regarding issues like abortion and gay marriage. Yet despite the political tug of war, there is no denying that even the leftwing side identifies closer with religious Christians than with Muslims. And even though some of the extremists on the leftwing side
demonstrate anti-Semitism with the bias they have against Israel, supporting Palestinian terrorists instead and promoting the BDS movement, Democrats in general, according to these studies, have a far warmer feeling toward Jews than they do toward Muslims, with Jews at the top, and Muslims practically at the bottom.

Why should that be? Well, for starters, Jews are not terrorists. Nor are all Muslims, however, Muslims are responsible for nearly all the terrorism in the world. And in addition to those who actually commit the acts of violence are those who celebrate it, attend the funerals of the “martyred” terrorists, hand out candy in jubilation after each occurrence of terrorism against the West or Israel, protest against the West rather than against the violence perpetrated by their co-religionists, and scream “Islamophobia” any time someone is not too big a coward to speak out, call a spade a spade and connect the dots between Islam and- not extremism and not radicalism- but plain old Muslim terrorism.

There has been no reformation movement in Islam. No one is allowed to question “The Prophet” without suffering dire consequences, and what is written in the Qur’an is the truth. If that is so, and everyone knows it’s so, why then is no one allowed to point out what the Qur’an actually says without being called “Islamophobic”?

With at least 109 verses of violence in the Qur’an and over 25,000 acts of Islamic terrorism worldwide only since September 11, 2001, violent fatwas issued by modern clerics against women and apostates on a regular basis, and not a single Muslim authority willing to challenge this violent Qur’an, it’s no wonder that the majority of Americans on both sides of the political spectrum are concerned about Islam and its adherents.

The current Administration shows no regard for what the public thinks or wants. Vice President Joe Biden recently said that the “wave” of immigration will not stop. (Almost sounds like a threat.) And in a recent speech the President assured us that, “we are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam.”

“No religion is responsible for terrorism,” he said. “People are responsible for violence and terrorism.”

But those people are following a violent religion, and no criticism of their prophet is permitted. Furthermore, as Muslim immigration has increased, so too has Muslim terrorism against the West. Surely these “brilliant” politicians can make that connection?

The only conclusion that can be made from the results of these Pew studies is that when answering survey questions, Americans freely admit their concern over Islam and Muslim immigrants, no matter what their political affiliation, but they do not dare express their fears with the PC police looming over us all.

Americans are worried but are not allowed to say it. Je suis Charlie?
