Syrian Migrant in Hungary: “If the Free Syrian Army was Here, They’d Shoot that Helicopter Down”
A scene from the future of Europe
A scene from the future of Europe where all the nice people who want to be your neighbors have shown up at the border.
Periodically, crowds would migrate toward the metal gates that demarcate Hungarian territory — newly reinforced with rounds of barbed wire, and guarded by riot police, army units, and helicopters that periodically swooped low over the gathering, in a manner that reminded more than a few of the Syrian air force’s bombing runs. “If the Free Syrian Army was here, they’d shoot that helicopter down,” one young refugee said….Why pick the Free Syrian Army? Its collection of Jihadist factions passed off as a nonsectarian rebel force fell apart. But not before they sold at least one American hostage and there are claims that plenty of their fighters are among the "refugees" headed to Europe.
And that's bad news for Europeans who don't like their helicopters shot up, soldiers beheaded and buses blown up and all the other forms of cultural enrichment that a huge horde of migrants will bring to Europe.
If Europe doesn't want the FSA there, it really needs to help Hungary secure the border.
