Justin Trudeau's Carbon Tax explained

Are you feeling the pinch from the rise in the price of gas or hydro? Well, it’s about to get a lot worse. Justin Trudeau has ordered all provincial leaders to create a carbon tax scheme by 2018 -- or else the Federal Government is going to impose one for them. A progressive plan to help ease global warming? Not exactly. Trudeau wants to increase taxes on your everyday expenses – from gas, to groceries to property tax – not once, not twice, but 5 times.  Beginning in 2018, at $10 per tonne, Trudeau plans to tax carbon at $50 per tonne just 4 years later. Not only will a carbon tax make everything more expensive, but it also has no proven benefit of helping the environment.
