In effect: Tommy Robinson—jailed today for nine months for contempt of court over a video he broadcast on Facebook which featured child grooming defendants in a criminal trial—won.

Tommy won because he made the British judicial system look as ridiculously absurd as it truly is. If broadcasting the child-grooming defendants on Facebook in a criminal trial was the charge, why take their wrath on a single activist rather than Big Gun Facebook?

While the leftwing media make a point of referring to him by his “real” name (Isn’t that doxing?) supporters can rightfully call him “Tommy (Victorious) Robinson.

It was Tommy (Victorious) Robinson who made Cover 1 on today’s Daily Mail. The seemingly omnipresent Meghan—“mom-shamed over how she holds Archie—made Cover 2.

Though the Daily Mail made it sound as if Tommy was handed leniency by tacking the phrase “although he will be out in less than ten weeks” to their story lede, 10 weeks will be an eternity to the activist and his supporters.

Tommy, his lawyers and supporters, have made it clear that his life will be in danger in any British jail.

How could anyone feel safe in a country with a judicial system which can’t—or won’t—stop multiple London stabbings?

How could anyone feel safe in a country where politically correct is master and whose rulers refuse to admit that terrorism even exists?

“The English Defence League founder, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was scolded by the judge in court for having ‘lied about a number of matters’ as his supporters set off smoke bombs outside the Old Bailey and Robinson himself called for more demonstrations. (Daily Mail, July 11, 2019)

Just when did governments stop lying to their constituents?

The protests for which Tommy called were not of the same type that took place outside the Old Bailey today, but were personal:

“His account on Telegram - which he uses after having his Facebook, Instagram and Twitter profiles suspended - said: ‘Sentenced to prison for journalism. Time for protests to start, this is an absolute joke! Protest outside whatever prison I’m in on Saturday please.’ (Daily Mail)
“A prison van believed to contain Robinson later left the court to cheers from supporters, with several shouting ‘We love you, Tommy!’ as the van pulled away. At least three people were arrested in relation to the protests. (Daily Mail)
“Robinson, 36, was told he would be committed to prison for 19 weeks but released halfway, after he was found to have committed contempt of court following a two-day hearing at the same court in London last week.
“He looked at the public gallery and winked as he was led to the cells through the dock, carrying a holdall.”

Will winking now be added to the British court crime list?

“Outside court, Robinson’s supporters booed as news of his sentence filtered through and officers donned their helmets as violent clashes erupted. The crowd marched towards the court chanting ‘we want Tommy out’ before some began pelting police with drinks bottles and cans. (Daily Mail)

Knowing full well that this was coming, couldn’t the British Justice System have handled this differently?

No, because that would have called for the common sense of possibly defusing an already overwrought situation.

Tommy up and embarrassed the entire system and it was time for them to get even.

Unfortunately their getting even made Tommy (Victorious) Robinson a martyr.

The big question now is: “Will Tommy survive for 10 weeks in British gaol?”

Yes, as long as his supporters keep their battle public, and that is precisely what they intend to do.
