Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Dave Gaubatz, the first U.S. civilian (1811) Federal Agent deployed to Iraq in 2003. He is the owner of DG Counter-terrorism Publishing. FP: Dave Gaubatz, welcome back to Frontpage Interview. And congratulations, once again, on your new book Muslim Mafia.
I would like to talk to you today about the Fort Hood massacre. You are a military man my friend, so let me ask you: could the military have done anything to prevent the tragedy?
Gaubatz: Jamie, I was a federal agent under the Department of Defense and based on the intelligence that has been released thus far, this tragedy could have been prevented.
Allegedly Maj. Hasan had made attempts to coordinate with Al Qaeda through emails and this was known to government officials. Likely the government officials are representatives of the military intelligence (MI) and the FBI. Maj. Hasan should have been under 24 hour surveillance until a decision was made to interview him. It is highly probable MI requested more government assistance than they in actuality received. Investigations such as these are briefed at the highest level of our government and there is little doubt politics and political correctness played an important role.
The person and people though who are ultimately responsible for these murders are Maj. Hasan, Islamic leaders who advocate and support the Al Qaeda ideology, and organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) who support such terrorist groups behind the scenes.
FP: CAIR’s Ibrahim Hooper (Public Relations Spokesperson for CAIR) has recently been verbally attacking your character and service to our country. Most recently on MSNBC. Any comments on Hooper?
Gaubatz: Hooper and CAIR do not represent the Muslim people or Islam. Although there are no accurate figures on the number of Muslims in America, it is estimated to be from 2–8 million people. CAIR has approximately 5,100 members and many are family/friends of CAIR chapter employees. 5100 of 2–8 million hardly qualifies as representing a group.
Hooper and his terrorist supporting affiliates are reacting exactly as we have expected for many years. When Hooper knows someone or an organization has intelligence linking CAIR to terrorism, he becomes excited, overreacts, and talks more than he should. He did this on numerous occasions during our undercover research. Many of my articles and blog entries over the last couple of years were primarily intended to get the attention of Hooper. Hooper actually made it too easy to collect intelligence on CAIR.
FP: Who represents the Muslim community in America?
Gaubatz: This is probably a better question for the numerous innocent Muslims in America who are victimized by CAIR and related Muslim Brotherhood organizations. I believe the young 17-year-old Muslim girl Rifqa Bary would say there are very few people in America who are standing up for the Muslim people who do not want the violence advocated by Al Qaeda, Maj. Hasan, and their behind the scene supporters such as CAIR. Did CAIR stand up to support Rifqa Bary? No. Ms. Bary left Islam and is considered an apostate. According to the materials promoted by CAIR and an Islamic Center CAIR is linked to (Dar Al Hijrah, Falls Church, VA), Ms. Bary is subject to the death penalty. Readers have been informed that Dar Al Hijrah was a mosque that Maj. Hasan had attended. Other convicted terrorists attended it as well.
FP: You have written about Dar Al Hijrah in the past. This Islamic Center supports violence against America, yes?
Gaubatz: Absolutely. In 2007, I conducted first-hand research at Dar Al Hijrah and conducted a pseudo conversion to Islam with a well known Islamic scholar (Yusef Estes) as my witness. I had reported at this time Estes had provided me a disk containing the same material as studied by Al Qaeda and the Taliban. The material pertained to the present day according to Estes. After reviewing the disk it contained information that Muslims in the ‘present day’ were to possess guns, tanks, missiles, and atom bombs to fight their enemies in Jihad, with the objective of conquering the world.
FP: What would you like to stress to our readers about the incident at Ft. Hood?
Gaubatz: There are many former and current Muslims in America like Rifqa Bary trying to warn of the violent ideology being taught by several Islamic leaders in America to the young innocent Muslim children. It is time we began listening to them and supporting them. There is ample evidence violence is being taught, but many people choose not to listen. How many Ft. Hood incidents does our country need to witness?
General George W. Casey (Chief of Staff of the Army) needs to support the innocent people who were killed by Maj. Hasan, and discontinue providing excuses and defenses for a terrorist.
Political correctness is never the answer or solution to any issue, but in regards to terrorism it can and does lead to more deaths of people. Many Americans try to distance themselves from tragedies and feel more secure by doing so, but in reality we are putting our children in harms way by ignoring the truths staring us in the face.
FP: What is the reality staring us in the face?
Gaubatz: The reality is the Muslim Brotherhood are active in America, our children are at risk (all religions), and our country is in a war that will likely never end. Islamic based terrorist organizations are very patient, do not quit, and do not conduct war in any lawful manner. Afghanistan should be an eye opener even for the most naïve. Al Qaeda does not have rules. Accept this or we will suffer as a country.
