“I know not with what weapons
World War III will be fought,
but World War IV will be
fought with sticks and stones.”
The
Road to Damascus Starts in Tehran
Iran
is the engine of the Syrian bloodbath. Remove Tehran’s killers, money,
weapons, intelligence services and fanatical ideologues from the Syrian
battlefield, and things will get better, perhaps much better. And not
only in the Middle East; things will improve in Africa (talk to the Nigerians
about that) and South and Central America.
“If you strike at a king, you must kill him”
(Ralph Waldo Emerson). Back in WWII, the United States took Emerson’s advice,
going so far as to nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki and lay waste to Dresden. But,
hey, we won. And Japan and Germany turned into responsible modern democracies.
Lately, not so much. Since Vietnam, and maybe Korea, we are in the era of the
“limited response” and the “surgical strike,” loathe to offend our enemies or,
worse yet, have someone speak unkindly of us at a UNESCO meeting.
Obama
Crosses ‘Red Line’ by Supporting Jihadi Terrorism
It is unsurprising that Obama is ignoring the
fact that there is strong evidence, including from the victims themselves, that
gas attacks in Syria are the work of al-Qaeda-linked terrorists. After all, who
used chemical weapons on who is irrelevant to the U.S President. Based on
pattern and precedent, what matters is apparently finding an excuse to support
the jihadis.

Krauthammer:
Is ‘Humiliated’ Obama Being ‘Shamed’ Into War?
He
pointed out that Democrats, including Obama, previously ridiculed the Bush
administration for supposedly taking unilateral action in Iraq. “So here is
Obama and the Democrats who railed against the Bush administration for its
supposedly unilateral invasion of Iraq where we had 48 allies for a mission
that involved boots on the ground, a real invasion, a real war. And here’s
Obama trying to gather an ally or two for a pinprick and he gets nothing.”

Questions About Syria You Were too Embarrassed to ask
The
United States and allies are preparing for a possibly imminent series of
limited military strikes against Syria, the first direct U.S. intervention in
the two-year civil war, in retaliation for President Bashar al-Assad’s
suspected use of chemical weapons against civilians. If you found the above
sentence kind of confusing, or aren’t exactly sure why Syria is fighting a
civil war, or even where Syria is located, then this is the article for you.
What’s happening in Syria is really important, but it can also be confusing and
difficult to follow even for those of us glued to it.

Just say “NO” to arming the Syrian rebels!
The humanitarian disaster happening in Syria
is deplorable. But we need to remember – our enemies are fighting our enemies.
It’s Assad/Iran/Hezbollah on one side and the Syrian rebels/al Qaeda/Muslim
Brotherhood on the other. Why would the United States want to get dragged
into this? A message needs to be sent to President Obama immediately.

message needs to be sent IMMEDIATELY.
The
liberal understanding of history is so hopelessly dominant that it never occurs
to most of them that countries can't be fixed. They aren't leaky sinks, but
systems emerging from a national culture. Egypt can't be fixed by calling the
plumbers of democracy to tighten a few valves and bully the natives into
holding another election.
Hugging the Brotherhood to Death
Obama’s entire plan to bring the Muslim
Brotherhood to power had laid the seeds of its destruction. The insistence on
having Muslim Brotherhood members at the Cairo speech, the demand that Mubarak
step down, the urging of rushed elections that benefited the Muslim
Brotherhood; the entire process by which Obama helped the Muslim Brotherhood
come to power became its indictment.
Al-Qaida-affiliated
terror group says it’s resuming holy war against Jews
A
terrorist group affiliated with al-Qaida that claimed responsibility for a
rocket attack on northern Israel said it has resumed a jihad, or holy war,
against the Jews. Resuming? When did the jihadists against Jews and Israel ever
stop?
Israel,
Lone Light in a Dark Region
This too, of course, is only a partial list,
but representative of U.S. exploitation of Israel’s isolation in the region and
dependence on U.S. support. One hopes for a day when a U.S. administration
will, instead, show greater respect for Israel’s autonomy, security concerns,
rights, and loyalty—and for its unique achievements in an inhospitable part of
the world.

Lackland AFB has a mosque and what I found disturbing was
that non- Muslims AF trainees at Lackland attend Islamic services at the
mosque. The Islamic leaders at theIslamic
Center of San Antonio
informed
me that new AF recruits must attend Islamic services at the mosque. While the
U.S. military has clamped down on military members having any connection to
the Christian and Jewish faith, or speaking to one another about their
religious beliefs, the military leaders are encouraging and demanding non
Muslim USAF members attend Islamic services.

“How can one
possibly resolve differences with Islamist fanatics who burn Christian Churches
– about 50 now, they say, so far – topple police vehicles, and use women
and children as human shields? And have as their mantra, “with life, with blood
– we sacrifice for Islam. Then she lowered the boom. “Mr. President, now it
looks like YOU’RE supporting fanatical Muslims.”
