Sean Hannity says that the Jordanians seem to be taking the burning
of their pilot seriously, sending a message that there will be dire and
severe and quick retribution for any attack against any Jordanian. He
notes that the American position seems to be much different.
Col West agrees and points out the decisive action on the part of Obama in sending John Kerry and James Taylor to serenade the Parisians following the Charlie Hebdo attack. Col West also raises the fact that although the negotiations for the safe return of the pilot were still ongoing, he had already been killed earlier in January; that this hostage and prisoner exchange was all a ruse. He says the only way to deal with savage, barbaric animals of this nature is to be tough and ruthless.”
Colonel West notes that that is something that is understood by General el-Sisi of Egypt, Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel and King Abdullah in Jordan. West recognizes the common denominator in all three leaders is a military background and an understanding of the enemy and how to fight them.
Colonel Ralph Peters reminds us that the terrorists who burned this man alive are the same ones that Obama and the Democrats are afraid to water board. Peters said, “I hear so much hogwash today, “Admiral Kirby, Pentagon spokesman said, ‘oh, this is an act of desperation on the part of Islamic State.’ No, it was a brilliant recruiting video and Islamic State, those guys that burned that young man alive; they’re having the time of their lives. This kind of violence is captivating, exhilarating, thrilling to these guys. It’s never going to get better for them than this. They have power now; they can exert their will over others.”
He adds, “This is better than the best sex they’ve ever had and it’s easier on the goats.”
Asked what should America’s role be from here, Peters replies, “America needs to get serious.” He dismisses the threat of the Jordanian Army to ISIS, describing the Arab armies as “hollow,” and incapable of doing the job that if the U.S. doesn’t lead, it doesn’t happen.”
He closes, saying, “And by the way, the ‘president’s’ false choice between air power alone or hundreds of thousands of soldiers on the ground, that’s absolute bull. There’s something in the middle there, and we need a limited number of boots on the ground for a limited time. They don’t have to stay but you go in, you kill the guys, you leave. You go back, you kill them again. But my God, ISIS is taking over the Middle East and our ‘president,’ as you observed, can’t even say Islamist terror.”
