And perhaps the cutest genocidal threat in the history of cuteness, as well!

One of the things that got me in trouble on Daily Kos was that I mentioned that Palestinians sometimes teach their children to hate Jews.

This is a “no-no” over there. While you can lambaste the hell out of Jewish Israelis, you are not allowed to whisper anything negative concerning the Palestinians.

The fact that the Jewish people have been under more or less constant attack in the Middle East since the 1920s is considered irrelevant, if it is considered at all. The fact that Palestinian television inculcates violent anti-Semitism in Palestinian children is not to be discussed, because it flies in the face of the dominant narrative on Daily Kos, which just also happens to be the Palestinian narrative of pure innocence and victim-hood.

The facts do not matter. History does not matter. Genocidal threats do not matter. What matters is maintaining the Palestinian narrative.

Zack, over at Huffington Post Monitor, formerly The Brothers of Judea, has noticed a similar phenomenon at the HuffPost.

What I have found to be very troubling, though, is the extent to which the Huffington Post, on the subject of Israel, Zionism and the Jews, embraces ignorance and forgoes intellectual honesty. The community in general not only is unaware of the facts of a given situation, they don’t particularly want to learn the whole story. They are much happier to hear what they want to hear and recite talking points into the ether.

Despite all evidence to the contrary anti-Zionists and Israel Haters at the Huffington Post and Daily Kos still consider the murderous Jihadis aboard the Mavi Marmara to have been “peace activists” and continue to blame Israel for the recent unprovoked Lebanese attack on that country.

The greatest threat facing the Jewish people today is not a nuclear armed Iran, because an Iran with nukes is a threat to pretty much everyone, not just the Jews. No. The greatest threat facing the Jewish people today is the international campaign of vilification and delegitimization pouring out of the Arab world directly into western universities, the western left press, and widely read political blogs such as Daily Kos and the Huffington Post.

Again I ask the question, why does Markos Moulitsas, the owner of Daily Kos, allow the constant vilification of the Jewish state, and thus the Jewish people, to continue on a daily basis on his blog? While I do not like to see the vilification of Muslims anywhere, which is why I draw a hard, bold line between Islam and Radical Islam, I most certainly do not like to see the vilification of the Jews within Left-progressive discourse.

And it goes on, constantly.

They will drive the Jews out of the Left, out of the progressive movement, and perhaps out of the Democratic party. It may take some time, but they seem hell-bent on the effort.
