 I HAVE BEEN using Google News Alerts with "Geert Wilders" as the search term for a couple of years now. That means if anything is published on the web about Geert Wilders, Google emails me a notice.For the last month or so, Google has been sending me something about Wilders almost every day. Before that I got something maybe every other week or so, or once a month. It was pretty rare for Wilders to be in the news. Not any more. Today, for example, I got three stories, including one from the New York Times: Dutch Opponent of Muslims Gains Ground This is good news. Wilders has not only become an icon of the fight for freedom of speech on the world stage, his message is obviously appealing to a significant segment of the Dutch population. As a British man said in a speech recently, "Please, America, do not give up on Europe yet. Many in Europe are waking up." Indeed they are, and Americans should not write them off. Europeans are fighting back, as you can read about here: Western Europe Fights Islamization. Americans are in this together with Western Europeans and we should fight as one against the global expansion of the third jihad.  |
