The Most Dreaded Letter in the English Language

When the Obama for America campaign unveiled that logo bearing the stylized letter "O" a few years back, many of our fellow citizens saw it as a symbol of "hope and change."  Were they ever wrong! Still, most never imagined that it would so quickly come to symbolize the Gestapo tactics of this administration-from using the IRS to harass political opponents to using the NSA to tap the e-mail conversations of virtually every single person in America. Simply put, "O" represents all that is wrong in our nation today:  the blatant abuse of government power, increasing invasion of privacy, growth of the welfare state, attacks on marriage and family, erosion of our stature internationally, and the disintegration of the rule of law. At Family Security Matters, we were among the very first to sound the alarm about President Obama's totalitarian impulses . . . and for that we've paid the price!  In fact, we were targeted for extra scrutiny by the IRS, all the way back in 2009 when President Obama first took office, long before the IRS scandal came to light.    You and I know that it's no coincidence that it has come to this.  President Obama campaigned on a platform of bigger government-and boy, has he ever delivered! Let's face it: when President Obama signed ObamaCare into law, he took over a full one-sixth of the nation's economy with one stroke of a pen!  And you can bet that this president doesn't intend to stop there.  He already has his sights on the banks...and the auto manufacturers...and industries that employ millions of other people.  Unless we come together and stand up-right now!-to the salivating beast that that our government has become, the IRS harassment of conservative organizations could look like child's play by 2016! Every day under this administration our federal government gets larger. And as it does, our free institutions, including our families, our churches and synagogues, our towns and neighborhoods-the very core and fabric of our society-all grow weaker.                         But it doesn't have to be this way.              We can fight back!
