Canada Raids,
Designates Hamas-Tied Charity
“IRFAN-Canada has knowingly
financed Hamas … for many years,” Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney said
Tuesday. “The well intentioned and charitable Canadians who sought to support
humanitarian relief through this organization deserve better.”
A Canadian foreign fighter in
Syria taunted the “evil, despotic and Zionist Harper government” on Wednesday,
claiming it was losing the battle against extremism and that fighting jihad was
becoming “as Canadian as maple syrup.” In a blog post, Abu Dujana al-Muhajir,
part of a small circle of Calgary youths who left for Syria to join armed
extremist groups, said “so-called radical Islamists” were gaining in popularity
and the number of Canadian jihadists was growing.
Raheel Raza’s response
to the Sheema Khan attack on ‘Honor Diaries’ that the Globe & Mail refused
to publish
We can only start to resolve a
problem by first exposing it and this is what Honor Diaries does, if Ms. Khan
had taken the time to see the full documentary. Ms. Khan’s sentence “Western
civilization good. Muslims kill for honour. Muslims bad.” is definitely her own
paranoia. How long will we sweep these problems facing Muslim women, under the
rug? We live in a time when hide and seek is an obsolete game.

SUPPORT SALIM MANSUR!
Salim is a candidate that Ontario
needs to have in government – if only to speak for the majority of us who are
totally fed up with the status quo. In a predicted minority government, the
power of a single member can be tremendous. Please help to make Salim that
difference! For those of you who may not have received this – I urge you to
read it, to visit Salim’s web site and to contribute in any way you can.
SALIM RECENTLY WINS THE ERIC HOFFER AWARD FOR HIS
BOOK: “MULTICULTURALISM; A DELECTIBLE LIE”
Each year, the Eric Hoffer Award for books presents
the Montaigne Medal to the most thought-provoking
book(s). These are books that either illuminate, progress, or redirect
thought. The Montaigne Medal is given in honor of the great French philosopher
Michel de Montaigne, who influenced people such as William Shakespeare, René
Descartes, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and
Eric Hoffer. This is an additional distinction beneath the Eric Hoffer Award
umbrella. Isn't it interesting that the panel of judges who made this decision
to award the book are Americans, and that an American award was given to a book
whose subject is of particular and immediate concern for Canadians.

Amazon now urged to
Backlist ‘Haters’
For many
years, the Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled groups with values it doesn’t tolerate as
“hate groups,” but now the organization is taking its attacks a step further,
demanding Amazon and PayPal blacklist bloggers and websites that don’t fall in
line with its leftist agenda.
Renowned Islam expert Robert Spencer,
whose Jihad Watch monitor on Islamic radicalism was
targeted, said it shows “the desperate insecurity of the
left: even at a time when they control the government, the media, and the
entertainment industry, they have to strike out against the small,
under-financed voices of truth that challenge their
hegemony.”
Yes,
ICANN
Recently, the Obama
Administration announced that it would transfer its oversight of internet
domain management to a yet-to-be-named international multi-stakeholder.
Many are concerned that this will lead to the suppression of speech in
capitulation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other free
speech tyrants.
Currently, there is bipartisan
concern that US relinquishment of domain oversight will have negative
consequences for freedom of speech. The Wall Street Journal
referred to it as “America’s internet surrender.” Newt Gingrich warned
that “every American should worry about Obama giving up control of the internet
to an undefined group. This is very, very dangerous.”
Benghazi is not an ordinary scandal — it
involves an act of war in which our ambassador, the representative of the
United States in Libya, was murdered (along with three other Americans) under
circumstances where security was appallingly inadequate for political reasons,
and where the administration did not just lie about what happened but actually
trumped up a prosecution that violated the First Amendment in order to bolster
the lie.
Hollywood Stars Call For Brunei Boycott Over
Sharia Law
The legendary Beverly Hills Hotel is owned by
the government of Brunei, which has just begun to implement harsh sharia law.
As Clarion Project previously reported, as of April 1, the first phase of sharia law went into
effect in the country. Eventually, punishments including the stoning to death
for the crimes of adultery, homosexuality and blasphemy and the amputation of
limbs for theft will be implemented
British
billionaire Richard Branson, owner of the Virgin Group, said in a
tweet: "No @virgin employee, nor our family, will stay at Dorchester
Hotels until the Sultan abides by basic human rights."
Obama the Jihadist
Let
us start by considering the results of Obama’s Middle East policy. He supported
Islamic jihadists in
overthrowing Qaddafi in Libya. Libya is now a terrorist state. He supported the
so called “Arab Spring” in Egypt, which resulted in a Muslim Brotherhood
terrorist state in Egypt. When the people of Egypt rose up to overthrow this
oppressive government, Obama continued to voice support
for the jihadists.
Then, Obama tried to involve us in a Syrian conflict in support of “rebels” who
are primarily led by Al Qaeda. In fact, prior to his death, Ambassador Stevens
was being used by the administration to supply
arms to the Al Qaeda forces in Syria. When it comes to Iran, Obama has done nothing to prevent that
terrorist state from developing nuclear capability. There is evidence that the White House has been infiltrated
by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a terrorist organization. In summary, the Obama
Middle East policy has been to assist Islamic terrorists where ever they can.
Hillary and the Face of Terror
The poverty-causes-Jihadism myth is itself an evolution of the original
poverty-causes-suicide-bombings myth, or poverty-causes-terrorism-in-general,
which became a Leftist cause celeb in 2005 with the publication of agitprop
Robert Pape’s “Dying to Win”; itself nothing
more than an excuse to attack the Bush Administration, and by extension the
“Global War on Terror” and the Iraq War and blame them instead on the United
States and capitalism/income inequality. In other words, a political
agenda/Leftist Politics, masquerading as scholarship.
NIGERIA AND BOKO HARAM
Perhaps if the “moderate” muslims of CAIR had been
speaking out about Boko Haram and not trying to silence those who did try to
warn the world about them, more than a hundred young girls might not be waiting
to be sold into slavery today.
Boko Haram
and the Kidnapped Schoolgirls
The kidnapping of the schoolgirls throws into bold
relief a central part of what the jihadists are about: the oppression of women.
Boko Haram sincerely believes that girls are better off enslaved than educated.
The terrorists' mission is no different from that of the Taliban assassin who
shot and nearly killed 15-year-old Pakistani Malala Yousafzai—as she rode a
school bus home in 2012—because she advocated girls' education. As I know from
experience, nothing is more anathema to the jihadists than equal and educated
women.

Boko Haram and Islamic Rape
Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb has ties with Boko Haram and a
well-developed set of networks for smuggling arms, narcotics and
contraband. Considering that slavery has survived in many parts of the
region, Boko Haram has probably just given the institution of slavery a shot in
the arm and stumbled into a new-money maker for themselves.
Beyond this, Boko Haram has the ego-boost that all terrorists
crave: Desperate parents, anxious government officials and attempts to
‘negotiate’ for ‘hostages’ are all grist for that particular mill.
Did Hillary refuse to designate Boko Haram as
a terrorist organization?
Boko Haram has wreaked havoc in Nigeria and portions of surrounding
nations since 2009, when the Nigerian government tried to crack down on their
arms-gathering operations. The group of Islamist terrorists had been known for
much of that time to have ties to al-Qaeda, both ideological and tactical.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands died in terrorist attacks from 2009 to 2013, many
of them targeted for their Christianity. And yet, not until November 2013 did
the US finally list Boko Haram as a terrorist group.
Why? We should ask Hillary Clinton. Josh Rogin at The
Daily Beast reported last night that the State Department was
asked repeatedly during her tenure as Secretary of State to add it to their
list of terrorist organizations — but refused to do so:
After Nigerian outrage, Muslims must renounce Sharia Laws that permit
treating female POWs as Sex Slaves
“We
Muslims have a choice. We either develop the maturity to say, such Islamic
injunctions do not apply anymore, or we can keep on driving fast-forward in
reverse gear, and every time we hit an obstacle that appears in our blind spot,
we can blame it on ‘Islamophobia’.”

BDS Movement: Barbarians Inside the Gates - Part I
Germans wiped out a people who had helped make Germany
great. Jewish professors, teachers, musicians, writers, businessmen, and
psychiatrists were first boycotted, then shot, then gassed -- and by the war's
end, Germany, which had been a prosperous nation, stood in ruins, utterly
bereft of any culture to speak of, its erstwhile leaders dead or on trial for
war crimes, its people in rags, its much-vaunted superiority in tatters, and
its greatest "enemies" -- the Jews -- on the verge of creating what
is now one of the most successful nations on earth.
The Nazis invented the Jewish boycott -- and went on
from there to the Holocaust. This is the wrong boycott in the wrong place at the
wrong time.
BDS Movement: Barbarians Inside the Gates - Part II
Despite a hatred for America -- and a perverse love of
Iran, Hezbollah, and the PLO -- we come back to the Israeli exception, to the
singling out of just one country. However charitable we may try to be, it is
hard not to detect the reek of anti-Semitism. Am I being unfair? To people who
marched through the streets of European cities chanting, "Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas," (and here and here at Dutch football matches) was that just simple folly -- or proof of intention?

Islam and Violence: Revisited
The dramatic turn of world events at the dawn of the twenty-first
century — including the collapse of the Oslo Peace process in September of 2000
in the face of a renewed and ongoing cycle of violence in the Middle East; the
terrorist attacks on the United States of America a year later in September
2001, and the Bush administration’s subsequent “enduring” war on terrorism in
Afghanistan and Iraq – have all served to reinforce the widespread perception
that Islam is in some special way linked to terrorist violence. Even
conventional academic perspectives regard Islam as having a predilection for
violence. According to this view, Islam is defined as inherently violent and
one of the primary sources of contemporary violence in the world.
“The militants took the tourists hostage because
they sought to negotiate the release of their brethren who had been arrested in
Yemen, where Abu Hamza’s son and stepson were making trouble around the same
time.” Abu Hamza told them that the practice was justified in Islamic law. And
indeed, kidnapping infidels and either killing them, enslaving them, ransoming
them or exchanging them for Muslim prisoners, or releasing them outright is
fully sanctioned in Islamic law:
Year after year, Muslims and Islamic
organizations have managed to push for still more Islamization of our cultures. Their main tool for this is their world famous,
embarrassing tendency to take offense at virtually anything. It is shocking to
witness how our secular authorities continue to submit to Muslims’ often
childish and threatening way of expressing this completely subjective emotion.
The result has been a sleepwalk towards still more implementation of the
hateful, racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, misogynic Sharia, that the UN and The European
Court of Human Rights has
condemned as being against human rights and “the antithesis” of democracy.
