Appeasing
Iran will Embolden ISIS
You can’t hope to
successfully fight Islamic State extremists in Iraq and Syria while at the same
time appeasing the extremists next door in Iran. But unfortunately this
continues to be the case with respect to the West’s approach toward the
mullahs’ regime in Tehran. The Iranian regime continues to be among the
worst human rights abusers and the
leading state in per-capita executions across the globe. With an unprecedented execution rate in the
past year, its new president, Hassan Rouhani, has proven that he is anything
but the “moderate” figure he proclaimed to be upon assuming office. Iran
continues to detain journalists, dole
out heavy punishments to
internet users, and suppress women and religious and ethnic minorities under the
name of god and Islam.
Not Destroying ISIS by Nonie Darwish
Muslim legal systems in Saudi
Arabia, Iran, Sudan and Yemen, do not hesitate to whip, amputate, stone and
behead those who violate Islamic sexual taboos, but never behead, amputate or
whip jihadists who terrorize in the name of Islam. Almost all Muslim governments
claim to be moderate, but none have apologized for 9/11. They have no interest
in rounding up terror groups except those who point their guns at Muslim
governments. Why is that? Why is it that many Muslim governments allow the
financial support and accommodation of terror groups as long as terrorists do
their business elsewhere? Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf countries financed
the radical resistance against Bashar Assad for one reason: he is not Sunni.
And now when the radical resistance turned into ISIS, these same nations are
asking the US to do something.
Thus we see Saudi Arabia,
Turkey, Gulf nations and Egypt, who are perfectly capable of destroying ISIS,
refuse to move against ISIS and allow the slaughter of fellow Muslims,
Christians and Kurds, rather than violate Sharia. All these Muslim governments
are begging the US and Western nations to do their dirty work for them, as
usual. America is the great Satan, so what more can America lose between
friends?
Is the Islamic State the Islamic ‘Reformation’?
It is immensely irresponsible
of Western leaders in this situation to continue Muslim immigration. Yes, part
of the damage has already been done, but that is no excuse for doing nothing. A
firefighter does not let the entire neighborhood burn down just because one
house has caught fire. If damage limitation is the only thing we can do at this
point, then let us at least do that. When militant Muslims are threatening to
behead us, it is simply no longer acceptable to continue mass-importing people
from unstable Muslim societies. Muslim immigration in every form to all
European and Western nations needs to be suspended, and any practice of sharia
laws banned. Western governments who fail to do this are failing to protect the
basic security of their citizens. They should be held accountable for that
failure.
The
Battle of Kobani
When General Grant assumed
control of federal forces during the Civil War, he told President Lincoln that
the quickest way to end the war was to win it. When General Sheridan
conquered the breadbasket of the Confederacy, the Shenandoah Valley, he imposed
harsh limitations on travel and farm production and said the road to victory
was the shortest path to peace. As of this writing, the Peshmerga are battling
for their lives in the Kurdish city of Kobani, which the jihadists, more
numerous and more heavily armed, are besieging. The Pentagon has already
commented, en passant, that it expects the city to be lost – not exactly
the most propitious announcement one cam make under these circumstances, but
presumably helpful for domestic political reasons.
Kurdish Female Soldier Gains
Internet Fame for Allegedly Killing More than 100 ISIS Jihadis
Rehana is
a YPJ (Kurdish female Peshmerga) soldier under the command of famed female
soldier Mayssa Abdo, who herself has become famous for running the
operation to keep the Syrian border town of Kobani
out of the hands of the Islamic State. Rehana is one of many Female
Kurdish soldiers who have become the front lines in the battle against
the Islamic State. Islamic State jihadists believe that their
martyrdom will not result in the promised gifts of the afterlife should they die at the hands of a woman, making the YPJ particularly
indispensable against this enemy. YPJ units fight in both Syria and Iraq, and
regularly post to social media to report on their successes in battle. It
is estimated that up to 10,000
women fight in the Peshmerga forces, though
estimates vary
Who
Truly Deserves a State? The Kurds or the Palestinians?
There are over twenty Arab
states throughout the Middle East and North Africa, but the world demands, in a
chorus of barely disguised animosity towards Israel, that yet another Arab
state be created within the mere forty miles separating the Mediterranean Sea
and the River Jordan. Israel, a territory no larger than the tiny principality
of Wales or the state of New Jersey, would be forced to share this sliver of
land with a new and hostile Arab entity to be called Palestine. Remember, there
has never existed in all of recorded history an independent sovereign nation
called Palestine -- and certainly not an Arab one. The term
"Palestine" has always been the name of a geographical territory,
such as Siberia or Patagonia. It has never been a state.
But there is a people who, like the Jews, deserves
a homeland and truly can trace their ancestry back thousands of years.
They are the Kurds, and it is highly instructive to review their
remarkable history in conjunction with that of the Jews. It is also
necessary to review the historical injustice imposed upon them over the
centuries by hostile neighbors and empires.

also revealed that infiltration operations have been going on for years –

An Islamic ‘Council of Nicea’
Islam needs a Vatican II.
Actually, Islam needs a Council of Nicea (the 4th Century meeting in
what is now modern-day Turkey) that codified Christian doctrine. Islam has
never convened anything like a Council of Nicea. Indeed, Muslims have never
really admitted to having a problem, which we all know is the first step in
finding a solution. Whether the Islamists themselves or their mewling
apologists among the liberal intelligentsia care to admit it, Islam must
reform, or be subjugated yet again. Instead of apologizing for Islam, it is
time for our leaders to demand of Islam that which we ourselves have already
done – aggiornamento – the adjustment of our religion according to the
facts of the world in which it lives
You Can’t Stop Genocide Without Killing Civilians
By the time World War II was
over entire cities had been devastated and hundreds of thousands of civilians
had been killed by the Allies in one of the last wars whose virtue we were all
able to agree on. The civilians were not limited to enemy German and Japanese
civilians, but included French civilians in occupied territory, Jewish
prisoners and numerous others who were caught in the war zone.
To the professional pacifist
these numbers appear to disprove the morality of war, any war, but they were
the blood price that had to be paid to stop two war machines once they had been
allowed to seize the strategic high ground. There was no other way to stop the
genocide that Germany and Japan had been inflicting on Europe and Asia except
through a way of war that would kill countless civilians. A refusal to fight
that war would not have been the moral course. It would have meant that the
Allies would have continued to serve as the silent partners in genocide. The
same thing is true today.
QATAR
The Road from Qatar to the Gaza Strip
Qatar also spends millions of dollars supporting the Islamic Movement in Israel, a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood headed by Sheikh Ra'ed Salah. The Islamic Movement is responsible for ongoing acts of provocation on the Temple Mount and in Judea and Samaria, and incites the entire Islamic world against Israel, claiming that the Jews are trying to destroy the Al-Aqsa mosque and replace it with the Jewish Temple. The incitement continued even as the Islamic Movement's sister movement, Hamas, fired rockets at Jerusalem and endangered both the mosques on the Temple Mount and Jerusalem's sites sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The
United States must designate Qatar a state sponsor of terrorism. Join our Stop
Qatar Now coalition to call upon Western groups and individuals to stop aiding
and abetting the world’s largest financier of jihad. Qatar’s funding for
Islamist terrorist organizations all over the world is an open secret known to
every global intelligence agency, including the CIA. It was exposed by
Wikileaks, which clearly showed that funds from Qatar were transferred to
al-Qaida. Qatar also funds the terrorist movements opposing the Assad regime in
Syria, such as the Al-Nusra Front, encourages anti-Egyptian terrorism in the
Sinai Peninsula and within Egypt itself, and is involved in Islamic terrorism
in Africa and other locations. It accompanies its involvement in terrorism
targeting Israel and Egypt (through the Muslim Brotherhood) with vicious and
inflammatory propaganda on its Al-Jazeera TV channel.

The director of the International Intelligence Program for INSIGNIS Strategic Research Inc. and a former senior manager at CSIS says the questions are not where, what or who, but when? “As you know, the fact is that this kind of slashing, shooting suicide attack is coming whether or not the NBC version be accurate,” David B. Harris warned Thursday
Canada: Muslim Immigration Fuels the Terrorist Threat to Canada by

The Canadian
Government has taken some steps to deal with the terrorist threat from the
Islamic State. This includes invalidating the passports of Canadian
citizens who go abroad to join Islamic terrorists in Syria and Iraq, and sending 69 special forces to Iraq as
advisers. The Government is right to take this threat from
the Islamic State seriously as Canada has been specifically targeted in a recent audio. However,
the 800-pound gorilla in the room that no one wants to mention is that
successive Canadian Governments have made Canada increasingly vulnerable to
Islamic terrorism through its immigration policy.
U.S., Canada Team Up with Islamists
The handbook, endorsed last week by the U.S. State
Department, is an alarming joint venture between the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police and the National Council of Canadian Muslims, which has connections to
terrorism. The handbook recommends discontinuing the
use of the words "jihad" and "terrorism," and balks at the
use of the word "moderate" to describe Muslims. Counter-terrorism
specialist and lawyer David Harris testified that "there are many
individuals and groups who masquerade" as moderates, who are really
"faux-moderates."

On Monday night British
Members of Parliament passed a motion by 274 to 12 saying, "That this
House believes that the Government should recognize the state of Palestine
alongside the state of Israel as a contribution to securing a negotiated
two-state solution." It comes only weeks after the Swedish Parliament
passed a similar unilateral motion. Of course the state of Palestine would not
only be free of Jews, or Judenrein, it would be a state that would
imminently be taken over by the most hardline forces in a hardline region.

Strategic Incoherence
The utter catastrophic failure by our leaders to
have a working knowledge of our enemies and their doctrine has resulted in the
deaths of Americans abroad and at home. Equally devastating is the loss of
the security of communities across this nation which will – because of the
failure of our leaders – have to deal with the jihadis on the streets of
America in coming months in ways most people find unimaginable. This is a
threat that can be mitigated now, and needs to be. Every day we wait is another
level of security we are losing. Our allies do not trust us and our enemies do
not fear us. We are extremely vulnerable.
Twitter CEO and
employees of Twitter receive Islamic State death threats
Here’s the thing: no one is safe. My colleagues and I have
received death threats for years. Political and cultural elites think that if
they marginalize the truth tellers and “trim” the truth to “acceptable” levels
of discourse, then they will be safe. But as they are quickly finding, that is
not the case. The truth ought to be heralded, not extinguished. These death
threats are the same as we face, as Salman Rushdie, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Malala
face — anyone who blasphemes against Islam is targeted for sharia punishment.
You cannot criticize or offend Islam.
Britain: Muslim Rape Gangs Run Wild
Who is responsible for the
religion-based mass gang-rape of British girls? The British Left — in
particular the “anti-hate” crusaders Lowles and Matthew Collins of Hope
Not Hate, Fiyaz Mughal of Faith Matters and Tell Mama, and their friends,
supporters, and allies. The lives of 1,400 girls are ruined today because of
these men. If Britain were even close to being a sane society today, these
people would be being subjected to scorching criticism, and there would be a
thorough public reevaluation of how much the Left’s alliance with Islamic
supremacism and smear campaign against foes of jihad terror has harmed the
nation and its people.
“I’m not a scholar of any
religion,” Cameron says. You can say that again. He also several times praises,
in this brief address, the “enormous contributions” that British Muslims make
to Britain, but the only example he adduces is the marvelous “fire-starter”
bowl of curry he recently enjoyed. He praises British Muslims for leading the
country in charitable contributions, with no reference to the many Islamic
charities that have been shut down for funding jihad, and no reference either
to the fact that Muslims in the UK overwhelmingly give to Muslim charities that
aid Muslims, not to any groups that aid non-Muslims. He also brags about
Britain’s aid to the Palestinian Authority, saying it is helping “Palestine”
“gain the statehood it so richly deserves.”
Denmark: Does Dhimmitude in Denmark Describe Our Destiny?
Denmark is
a tiny country half the size of Maine. Why should we care about what happens
there? Because it foreshadows our future. And without a major course
correction, the picture is bleak. First and foremost, Denmark (like most
European countries) has allowed Muslim immigration to swell as the nation has
embraced multiculturalism and dhimmitude.The country is paying a heavy price
for its short-sightedness.

"Boxed and Packaged Islam" Trying to Pass Itself Off as

This brand of boxed and
packaged Islam has been so cleverly and cunningly marketed through the mosque
pulpits, print media and electronic media that most Muslims do not even know
what has hit them. It is beamed directly into their homes and hearts; they are
not encouraged to dissent. This point was made by the Imam on the Bilatakalluf
talk show: he said that Muslims should not speak out on Western media about
sectarian issues or about violence within the faith. He went on to say that
those Muslims who do speak out are liars desperately seeking the limelight. So
most Muslims either stay silent or deflect the problems into conspiracy
theories.
Moderate Islam is our new Religion
There is no moderate Islam in the mosques or in Mecca. You won’t find it
in the Koran or the Hadiths. If you want to find
moderate Islam, browse the newspaper editorials after a terrorist attack or
take a course on Islamic religion taught by a Unitarian Sociologist wearing
fake native jewelry. You can’t find a moderate Islam in Saudi Arabia or
Iran, but you can find it in countless network
news specials, articles and books about the two homelands of their respective
brands of Islam. You won’t find the fabled land of moderate Muslims in
the east. You won’t even find it in the west. Like all myths it exists in the
imagination of those who tell the stories. You won’t find a moderate Islam in
the Koran, but you will find it in countless Western books about Islam.
Moderate Islam isn’t what most Muslims believe. It’s what most liberals
believe that Muslims believe.
