Salon claims,"Islam gave women equal rights in 610 that our own United States haven’t given even in 2015.

Well as long as we don't count "equal rights" like... women being forcibly enslaved under Islam.

As bad as Obama is, he hasn't currently married a 7-year-old girl and doesn't take the wives of the men he murders as sex slaves. The way that Mohammed did.

There's probably someone in Berkeley who thinks that raping little girls in a polygamous marriage is a civil right. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it should be a death penalty offense.

Anyway, according to Salon, "For example, far from Dr. Carson’s claim that in Islam women are subservient, Islam gave women equal rights in 610 that our own United States haven’t given even in 2015. To this day America has not passed the Equal Rights Amendment."

This bit of wisdom comes to us from Qasim Rashid, Esq who is a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s Prince al-Waleed bin Talal School of Islamic Studies.

Prince al-Waleed bin Talal is a member of the Saudi royal family, a regime under which women are not allowed to drive cars. No word on whether Saudi Arabia ever passed the Equal Rights Amendment.

But here's an awesome civil right that Muslim women get in Mohammed's homeland, in the heart of Islam.

In what is widely viewed as yet another sexist and repressive act, Saudi Arabia has introduced an electronic tracking system to monitor its female citizens’ cross-border movements. The system is designed to send alerts to men whenever women under their custody, which include wives and daughters, leave the country.
Since last week, some Saudi women’s male guardians have been receiving text messages from immigration authorities, the AFP reported.

Here's Islam still giving women more civil rights. While America has yet to ratify the ERA, Saudi Arabia not only sends text messages to male guardians of adult women, but also sentences gang rape victims to lashes and shoves girls who try to flee burning buildings without their hijabs back into the flames.

Why does America still insist on repressing women while Saudi Arabia moves forward to the progressive 7th century?
