‘Drunk migrant sparked BRAWL in asylum centre after trying to STAB worker in medicine row’

A DRUNK migrant was arrested after sparking a brawl at an asylum centre and savagely assaulting a member of staff who tried to give him medicine, according to police.

The migrant allegedly chased the worker out of a window and tried to stab him in a frenzied attack which nearly cost the staff member his life.

The asylum-seeker furiously attacked the worker after he asked for medicine but only offered paracetamol, a police report claimed.

The 25-year-old reportedly destroyed tables and chairs and chased the member of staff out the window, sparking a brawl with other migrants.

Police and four ambulances were called to the centre in Nordanstig, Sweden.

Staff finally managed to overpower the man before he was arrested for aggravated assault and vandalism.

The terrifying scare comes just days after German police issued warnings that the majority of migrant men who allegedly sexually assaulted women in Cologne on New Year’s Eve may never be caught.

Juergen Mathies said CCTV footage was not good enough to identify sex crimes and police are relying on victims and witnesses to identify their attackers.
