been in on multiple reconstructions of these disastrous mutilations. These
women were mostly from Somalia and brought in by concerned church friends and
social groups. The 1st time I saw one and heard how it was performed on her,
I had to move backwards towards a nice, cool wall and slide down into a chair
and put my head down. I thought I was going to faint. I honestly can't fathom
this torture.
