In Haninge, South of Stockholm, the municipality has decided to let unaccompanied refugee children living next to a preschool. The decision has aroused very strong reactions among middle-class Swedes in the area.
– You have blood on your hands, shouted one of the residents to politicians during a briefing tonight according to Avpixlat.
The municipality would open the barack-looking pavilions for 32 unaccompanied [Muslim asylum seekers] right next to the Vendelsömalms school, which also has a kindergarten. A large number of locals are now furious over the plans, as they were not informed until last week.
– “I know lots of parents who live here and have children in kindergarten and at school who are very angry at the municipality. After the last few weeks many incidents at the refugee shelters, it is maybe not so smart to build accommodation right next to a kindergarten and a school. There are children as young as 1-5 years”, says a dad who lives nearby in Vendelsö to FriaTider.

– “I have three daughters. If something happens to them I will not sit still. You have blood on your hands,” said a father of the gathered politicians, according to Avpixlat.
Another proclaimed that he will “tear down in the evening what you have built up during the day”.
A mother expressed concern that girls should not be able to move freely when the so-called children of the third world moves in.
– “They are not 15-17 year [old children] either, but 25-year-old men by the way,” she said, according to Avpixlat.
Interest in the information meeting is, according to Avpixlat so large that many did not get room inside the building. Another meeting will be held on 9 February.
