Well there's certainly no possible way that can backfire on us. Still Obama is determined to free every Islamic terrorist from Gitmo. And that means Salem Abdu Salam Ghereby is footloose and fancy free despite his background in the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, which became temporarily "moderate" with the Muslim Brotherhood helping lead to Obama's backing for the overthrow of Gaddafi
And the resulting descent of Libya into a terrorist paradise.

Our good friend Salem is listed as a former explosives trainer and a veteran Jihad fighter. Just the kind of solid citizen the world needs more of.

He's also associated with senior members of Al Qaeda and is rated as posing a High risk to the US. So obviously Obama let him go. Because that's how much he loves America.
