Last week, members of the United States Council of Muslim Organizations
(USCMO) took to Capitol Hill. As they boasted on their website,
more than 330 of their members met with federal legislators. Their
goal: to "connect
national, regional and state Muslim Organizations, community members
and activists with their elected representatives.”
Just a group of patriotic Muslim-Americans interacting with their
elected officials. Sounds perfectly reasonable, right?
Unfortunately, the USCMO is anything but the moderate Muslim advocacy
organization they claim to be. In reality, they are yet another
Islamist wolf in sheep’s clothing…the Muslim Brotherhood’s newest arm
in the United States. In a recent
opinion piece that ran in The
Hill,
Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy pulls the cloak
off of the organization, appropriately defining them as the
Brotherhood’s “new
instrument for its subversion: a self-described U.S. ‘political
party’ meant to dominate and mobilize Muslim voters across the country
and get them marching according to one plan. The object is to
elicit support for the Muslim Brotherhood’s demands from candidates and
to help achieve what the Islamic supremacists would regard as favorable
outcomes in the 2016 elections.”
