Why is Germany is bending over backwards to appease the people whose ultimate goal is to turn Germany into an Islamic state?

Germany has the largest Muslim population in Europe, taking in over one million more Muslim migrants in 2015 alone. Combine that with self-hatred over it’s past policies and a leader like Angela Merkel who has opened up Germany’s borders to any Muslim freeloader/rapist/jihadist who wants to move there, and you have a Germany that within 10 years will cease to be German.
