We’re about to go to a dangerous place in this country after a
37-year-old Ottawa man succumbed to injuries he sustained in an
altercation with police. We’re about to see the politicization of a
death for an agenda driven purpose.
With his family still grieving and within minutes of the announcement of the death of Abdirahman Abdi, there were accusations that this was a race-based arrest, a race-based killing by police, and the Ottawa police force is full of racists.
Watch as I give you the details and you’ll see the beginnings of activists who want to see it happen so they can import a political movement, Black Lives Matter, that’s more about division than unity.
They want to drive a wedge between blacks and police, and even Muslims and police.
While we can’t clear the police at this point, neither can we convict them.
What we must do is take a step back and wait for the facts.
