Lt. Col. Ralph Peters Sums Up Obama’s Mid-East Policy: ‘Praise Islam, Ignore Christians, Blame Jews’
‘Nuff said.
Peters, known for calling the president “such a total pu**y,” was commenting on recent remarks made by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani who called Obama’s attitude towards terrorism “lackadaisical.”
However, Peters disagreed with the former mayor for suggesting domestic terrorism has gotten worse under Obama, but that didn’t mean he had kind words for the president, either:
"I don’t think he’s right about the domestic scene. Our domestic intelligence and law enforcement agencies have really done an amazingly good job, if you think about it. We haven’t seen another 9/11-level plot or anything even approaching it, really. And inevitably, some terrorists will get through.Peters said his summation is evidenced right now with Obama’s stab in the back of Israel over his abstention vote in the U.N over settlements; something the colonel called a “scandalous debacle.” He added:
“Now, Obama could have done a better job, but where you really have to fault the outgoing president is on his disastrous approach to the Middle East which I can bluntly sum up in six words, which is: praise Islam, ignore Christians, blame Jews.”
“I think the president’s willful naivety about Islam, his refusal to accept the fact that within Islam there are elements who are distorting the religion badly and killing Muslims as well as Christians and everybody else. His inability to act decisively — even the decision to go after Bin Laden in Pakistan, it took weeks for him to make up his mind about that.”Peters said it was Obama’s childhood years in Indonesia, being brought up in Islam, that romanticized the religion for him and eventually created the indecisiveness he exhibited as president that ended up creating the power vacuum in the Middle East.
“He’s Hamlet,” Peters continued. “He’s always been, ‘to be, or not to be’ — wringing his hands, can’t make up his mind and the result, again, is Syria alone, a half a million dead.”
