While I was in Paris reporting on the terror attack of November 13, I was determined to asked local Muslims their opinion on the attack, and on terrorism in general.
Muslim Uber drivers we had were pretty liberal, but it's hard to know whether or not they're just trying not to antagonize their customers.
Other Muslims in Paris we spoke to deny that the attacks were motivated by Islamic teachings, and some insist that the U.S. -- and the Jews -- were responsible.
One man is sure that ISIS is Jewish despite the word "Islamic" in its name.
It's one thing they have in common with the leftwing journalists I talked to earlier: Their firm belief that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism.
