Remember the Muslim Coke Plane Outrage? ISIS Brought Down Russian Jet w/Soda Can

Imaginary microaggressions and fake Muslim hate crimes can be hard to keep track of. But you might remember the Great Islamophobia Diet Coke Outrage of the summer. Here's a refresher.
Tahera Ahmad, a Muslim chaplain with connections to terrorist supporting Muslim clerics and groups, wanted a Diet Coke while flying United.
She got a Diet Coke, but she wanted it unopened. The flight attendant opened it for her.
Tahera Ahmad and her Islamist allies freaked out on Twitter screaming about Islamophobia and launching a #UnitedforTahera hashtag.
So far, the pilot and the flight attendant both apologized to her, United Airlines apologized to her and fired the flight attendant.
The other flight attendants are being retrained to fulfill any ridiculous request made by a Muslim or face more Islamophobia hashtags and boycott threats.
When I flew a few weeks ago on Delta, my soda was opened and poured for me into a plastic cup. I was a victim of blatant Islamophobia. Here's another reminder of why soda cans are an issue on planes.
Islamic State's official magazine carried a photo on Wednesday of a Schweppes drink it said was used to make an improvised bomb that brought down a Russian airliner over Egypt's Sinai Peninsula last month, killing all 224 people on board.
The photo showed a can of Schweppes Gold soft drink and what appeared to be a detonator and switch on a blue background, three simple components that if genuine are likely to cause concern for airline safety officials worldwide.
"The divided Crusaders of the East and West thought themselves safe in their jets as they cowardly bombarded the Muslims of the Caliphate," the English language Dabiq magazine said in reference to Russia and the West. "And so revenge was exacted upon those who felt safe in the cockpits."
Don't expect any apologies from the media which took Tahera Ahmad's entitled whining and made it into a national story. They will never admit they lied. They will never admit they were wrong. They will never admit that they are endangering American lives and making it easier for terrorists to kill us.

At the end of this October, Tahera Ahmad was still promoting her Diet Coke victimhood.
“You can imagine as a Muslim living in a post 9/11 world and someone in authority says, ‘You may be using a can of soda as a weapon 30,000 feet off the ground…,’” Ahmad says. “That, of course, is very humiliating. But it is also very scary.”
Yes. Almost as scary as dying when a Muslim bomb goes off on a plane killing hundreds of people.

Almost.
