Omar Khadr by the numbers: Revealing the cruelty of Trudeau’s pandering
By now you’ve heard the news that Omar Khadr will get an apology and $10.5M from the Canadian government for how Americans treated him in Gitmo after he killed one of their medics looking to help him on the battlefield.
It’s outrageous and insulting on its face but let’s look at Omar Khadr by the numbers to get a sense of exactly how outrageous it is.
Watch as I drill down into the details and give those numbers a human and political perspective that Khadr’s apologists don’t want you to consider.
Jean Chretien had the chance to help Khadr back in 2002 and he didn’t because he knew that Khadr was a little terrorist. Paul Martin took over and saw the same thing, same with Stephen Harper.
Two Liberal prime ministers and one Conservative PM didn’t help this brat that took up arms against the country of his birth.
No PM did until Justin Trudeau and now he’s doing voluntarily what no one else would dare do, not even if they were in office today - make Khadr rich, absolve him of his sins and desecrate the sacrifice of our fallen and our Afghan war veterans.
Shame on Trudeau, shame on Khadr.
