controls the past," wrote Orwell. Here in 2017, the left is firmly in
control of both academia and media and is using both to control the past.
The American
Revolution began in earnest on July 4, 1776 with the announcement of our
Declaration of Independence. It is not over. The struggle for life, liberty
and creative pursuit of happiness goes on, and will go on for as long as
our human nature remains as it is...
The moment
represented a contest of wills. One was a lifetime in the making; the other
honed to perfection in a profession where mission success is imperative in
saving, or taking, the lives of others.
Recent events
in Charlottesville Va. have brought to focus the irrational thinking of
those who consider themselves to be "progressive" and tolerant as
opposed to the rest of Americans especially conservatives.

In reality,
it has been the Republican Party throughout US history that ended slavery,
pushed the Civil Rights movement and legislation.
"So will
George Washington now lose his status?" the President asked on
Tuesday. "Are we going to take down statues to George Washington? How
about Thomas Jefferson?"
