REPORT: Hostages Taken In Barcelona As Death Toll From Terror Attack Rises

There are reports that hostages have been taken at a bar in Barcelona after a horrific terror attack where a van ran over a crowd of people.

As reported by Sky News, “Armed cops have surrounded Luna d’Istanbul eaterie near the Boqueria food market in the Catalan capital.”
The death toll has risen from the originally reported two deaths, to over 10.
Armed police are now on the scene.

The authorities have told people to avoid the area, and metro lines have been shut down.
According to some reports, the individuals inside the Turkish restaurant are the perpetrators of the terror attack. At least 10 have been killed, and horrific video on social media has shown a street full of terribly injured victims of the attack.

Nobody has yet taken responsibility for the terror attack at this time.

This is the warning given by the British Foreign Office about Spain according to The Sun:
The British Foreign Office guidance for Spain reads: “Terrorists are likely to try to carry out attacks in Spain.”Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners.
“Spanish police have disrupted a number of groups suspected of recruiting individuals to travel to Syria and Iraq from 2015 to the present date.
“Some of them expressed an intention to carry out attacks in Europe.
“There’s a heightened threat of terrorist attack globally against UK interests and British nationals from groups or individuals motivated by the conflict in Iraq and Syria.”
The attack fits the pattern of previous Islamist terror attacks, but it’s important to note that the perpetrators are not yet known. However, there are reports that ISIS accounts are celebrating the attack.
