U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said a missile fired by Yemen's Houthi group toward Saudi Arabia on Tuesday "bears all the hallmarks of previous attacks using Iranian-provided weapons" as she pushed the U.N. Security Council to act.


U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley urged the Security Council on Tuesday to punish Iran for what the Trump administration calls its "dangerous violations" of U.N. resolutions and "destabilizing behavior," while Russia said dialogue is needed rather than threats or sanctions.


A US jury will begin deliberations Wednesday on whether to convict a Turkish banker of violating sanctions on Iran in a trial straining relations between Ankara and Washington and hinging on testimony from a flamboyant gold trader.

Former security officials claim that the Obama administration intentionally stonewalled a Drug Enforcement Agency investigation against a major terror group, according to a Politico report.

The United States and France have declared the two NATO nations will work together to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from enhancing its ballistic missile capability.


The spokesman of the coalition forces in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Malki, stated on Tuesday afternoon, 19 December 2017, that the Iran-made ballistic missiles pose a serious threat to the region and must be controlled.
