AL ASAD AIR BASE, Iraq – The 7th Iraqi Army Division Field Engineering Regiment conducted a five-day cache sweep northeast of Rutbah supported by Marines from Regimental Combat Team 8, March 12 - 16.
Iraqi Soldiers Train in Detainee Operations
CAMP ECHO — U.S. Military Police conducted detainee operations training for Iraqi Army (IA) Soldiers here, March 11. The class, a refresher course for some of the Iraqi Soldiers and initial training for others, was an effort to bring them all to the same level so they can train their fellow troops.

CSC SCANIA — The residents of a small village in rural Jawadia of the Babil province received an unexpected surprise recently. In the early morning hours under a hazy, sand-induced overcast sky, local villagers awoke to find Iraqi Police (IP) of the Furat Police Station and Soldiers from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, pulling into their village with a railcar shipping container in tow.
Paratroopers Deliver Colorado Boy’s Toys to Iraqi Children
BELADIYAT, Iraq, March 17, 2009 – A month after a Colorado boy collected his toys and sent them to Iraq, a group of U.S. Army paratroopers distributed the items to children in an eastern Baghdad neighborhood yesterday.
