David Brooks, COO of Ashford Hospitality Trust, said they are revisiting their policy regarding future Islamist extremist conferences at their hotels. Florida Family Association released an email alert and online article on May 1, 2012 and May 8, 2012 which reported that the Islamic Society of North America is planning a conference at the Hilton Airport Tampa Westshore on May 11-12, 2012. The original email alerts posted at the end of this email encouraged people to send emails to Ashford Hospitality Trust which owns Hilton Airport Tampa Westshore. Islamic Society of North America promotional material indicates that legitimizing Sharia law in America is one of the top issues of this conference. More details are provided below in the May 8th email alert. David Brooks, Chief Operating Officer for Ashford Hospitality Trust, informed Florida Family Association via a telephone conversation with David Caton, Florida Family Association Executive Director, that they are “revisiting policy on allowing these types of conferences in the future but we have a contract for this event which we will likely have to follow through with.” It would be easy to overlook the one conference in Tampa if Ashford Hospitality Trust prohibited these Islamist anti-freedom conferences from taking place in the future at any of their one hundred thirteen (113) hotels. Florida Family Association released an email alert and online article on May 1, 2012 which reported that the Islamic Society of North America is planning a conference at the Hilton Airport Tampa Westshore on May 11-12, 2012. Thousands of concerned citizens sent emails to officials with the hotel owner Ashford Hospitality Trust and franchisor Hilton International to complain about this Islamist event. In response to these emails, David Brooks, COO of Ashford Hospitality Trust called Florida Family Association and spoke with David Caton. Mr. Brooks informed Florida Family Association that they are going to allow the convention to take place. So David Brooks COO of Ashford Hospitality Trust plans to knowingly allow their property Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore to advance Sharia law in one of America’s most Islamist vulnerable cities. ISNA is unindicted co-conspirator in Hamas support trial.
