Google has announced via its Online Security Blog that it will
begin alerting users of Gmail when detecting credible evidence that message
are being sent to them by state sponsored entities for spying purposes. Wired
says Google has taken this action because it believes some Gmail users have
received such messages and wishes to prevent [...]
