A 'no-brainer'

It’s a “no-brainer”

by Guy Rodgers
Executive Director

Ninety days ago we announced we were partnering with iGive, an online shopping program that empowers people to help the cause of their choice every time they make an online purchase.

Thanks to the many people who have signed up for the program, nearly $3,000 in contributions have been generated for ACT! for America thus far—at no cost to them!

Over 50,000 non-profit organizations are signed up with iGive, but in just 90 days ACT! for America rose to be one of the top twelve non-profits in America participating in the iGive program!

We’ve received many emails praising the iGive program and its ease of use. We use it here at the national office. The logic and power of the program make it one of those “no brainers” we all hear about.

That’s because every time an ACT! for America supporter buys something online from the more than 1,000 retailers who participate, ACT! for America receives a percentage of that purchase in the form of a donation.

At no cost to the person making the purchase!

What could be easier?

Whether you shop the online stores listed at the iGive website or download the iGive button, every time you purchase something, you help ACT! for America!

And, like I said, at no cost to you.

So if you haven’t yet tried it, please, give the program a try. You have nothing to lose.

Maybe you’re thinking it sounds too good be true. Or it really doesn’t work. Or there’s a catch. Or that your purchases won’t make much of a difference.

I understand these reservations. I long ago learned, the hard way, that if something sounds “too good to be true,” it almost certainly is.

But rest assured that’s not the case with iGive. It really does work. There’s no catch. No gimmicks.

And for those who are thinking “how much difference will my online purchases make?” consider this.

If just 5,000 ACT! for America members participated (about 2% of our total), and each one spent just $200 per year, ACT! for America would receive between $20,000 and $25,000.

Even if you only made one online purchase this year, you would be helping ACT! for America.

So whether you do a little online shopping or a lot, doesn’t it make sense to help protect your family’s security and freedom by supporting ACT! for America through iGive?

Especially when it’s free?

What could be easier and more powerful than that?

Help us kick off the New Year with a bang. Sign up at iGive today and every time you make an online purchase with a participating company you’ll be helping us defeat the threat of radical Islam—at no cost to you!

Yours for a safe and free America,

Guy Rodgers
