A 'no-brainer'

The logic and power of the program make it one of those “no brainers” we all hear about. That’s because every time an ACT! for America supporter buys something online from the more than 1,000 retailers who participate, ACT! for America receives a percentage of that purchase in the form of a donation. At no cost to the person making the purchase! What could be easier? Whether you shop the online stores listed at the iGive website or download the iGive button, every time you purchase something, you help ACT! for America! And, like I said, at no cost to you. So if you haven’t yet tried it, please, give the program a try. You have nothing to lose. Maybe you’re thinking it sounds too good be true. Or it really doesn’t work. Or there’s a catch. Or that your purchases won’t make much of a difference. I understand these reservations. I long ago learned, the hard way, that if something sounds “too good to be true,” it almost certainly is. But rest assured that’s not the case with iGive. It really does work. There’s no catch. No gimmicks. And for those who are thinking “how much difference will my online purchases make?” consider this. If just 5,000 ACT! for America members participated (about 2% of our total), and each one spent just $200 per year, ACT! for America would receive between $20,000 and $25,000. Even if you only made one online purchase this year, you would be helping ACT! for America.
