Mirza Ghalib
Dear
Muslim sisters! In Part 1 of this article, we have come across many
‘golden sayings’ of our noble prophet about Muslim women. Those sayings
make it crystal clear that your status in Islam is not only lower than
men, but also as low as or even lower than domestic animals. The
troublesome issue of women in Islam is endless. We can’t cover it all in
a few short articles. So, I will keep this discussion brief touching
only a few points and complete it in three parts, leaving an earnest
request to my Muslim sisters to spend some of your time to study Islamic
scriptures on your own in order to know your real status in Islam.
PRIVILEGE FOR MUSLIM MEN IN SEX
Muhammad’s imaginary brainchild Allah
the most Gracious has allowed Muslim men to marry up to four wives. If
they desire for the pleasure of new flesh even after having four wives,
they can just dismiss one by uttering ‘talaq’ three times and bring in a
new one. In addition, Muslim men can have slave-girls as many as they
want to spice up their sex life.
UP TO 4 WIVES: “…
then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but
if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry)
only one or what your right hands possess...” (Quran, Sura An-Nisaa 4:3)
The ‘right hand possession’ in the above verse simply means slave women.
Four wives not enough for me -- you get four, I get more: Muhammad
Our holy prophet had four wives and a
number of slave-girls to have sex with completing the quota as per the
verse 4:3. But he was not satisfied with the lot of wives and wanted
more. So, Allah later revealed a new verse (Quran 33:50), giving him
special permission to have as many wives as he wanted. This verse gave
him another special permission to have sex with any Muslimah he desired
for. Most of us Muslims are unaware that prophet Muhammad had 15
official young beautiful wives (most of them had been made widow by
Muhammad as he lusted toward them), neither do we know about the number
of sex-slaves and countless sex-partners from among the Muslim women,
who freely “offered” themselves to him. (Quran Al-Ahza’b 33:50; Sahih
Al-Bukhari 6:311, 7:760). (I strongly recommend to my Muslim brothers
and sisters to search and read these quotes. You will get more and more,
if you go on search by yourself)
MUHAMMAD USED TO KEEP WOMEN AS HIS POSSESSION: The Muslims said among themselves, ‘Will Safiyah be one of the Prophet’s wives or just a lady captive and one of his possessions?’ (Sahih Al-Bukhari 5:524)
ELEVEN WIVES AT THE SAME TIME: Narrated
Qatada: Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit all his wives
in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in numbers." I
asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We
used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)."
And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about
nine wives only (not eleven). (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1:268, 7:142)
ONLY ONE WIFE FOR HIS SON-IN-LAW ALI:
Muhammad bribed his momin soldiers with four wives and unlimited number
of concubines, which was not sufficient for himself, and he ordered
Allah to reveal a special new verse allowing only him to break this
limit. He never bothered about the feelings of his existing wives as he
went on adding more and more women into his harem.
Yet, Muhammad had some soft corner for
feeling of women when the woman in question was his own flesh and blood.
So, when Ali, husband of his daughter Fatima, wanted to marry a second
wife, Muhammad opposed it:
Narrated
Al-Miswar bin Makhrama: I heard Allah's Apostle who was on the pulpit,
saying, "Banu Hisham bin Al-Mughira have requested me to allow them to
marry their daughter to Ali bin Abu Talib, but I don't give permission,
and will not give permission unless 'Ali bin Abi Talib divorces my
daughter in order to marry their daughter, because Fatima is a part of
my body, and I hate what she hates to see, and what hurts her, hurts
me." (Sahih Al-Bukhari 7:157, 201)
One should not take this as Muhammad’s
courteous feeling toward women in general. All he cared is for himself
and his extended family, and designed and used Islam to achieve that
selfish end to the maximum. So, we see that he clearly understood the
hurt Fatima would suffer if Ali had taken more wives. Here he had an
opportunity to abrogate the earlier verse 4:3 that allowed his followers
to take up to four wives. Instead, the holy prophet increased his own
quota, allowing him to take unlimited number of wives and sex-partners.
Muhammad obviously was a heartless opportunist and did not care for
anyone except himself and his own flesh and blood. So, while he kept
adding wives one after another into his harem, he prevented Ali from
taking a second wife, when he wished to marry another woman. Thus,
Muhammad prevented Ali from acting within the law of Islam. Nonetheless,
Ali, a perfect student of Muhammad, proved himself almost as good as
his father-in-law by taking 9 more wives alongside Fathima, but only
after the death of Muhammad. He also produced 28 children, where the
beloved prophet of Allah failed to match his protégé. Maasha Allah!
HUSBAND’S RIGHTS OVER THEIR WIVES
The following hadiths reduce Muslim
women to the level of domestic animals as a Muslim man is allowed to
gift his wife to other Muslim man.
HUSBAND = ALLAH: Reported by Abu Dawood, Ahmad, Tirmizi, Ibn Magah and Ibn Haban.
Had
I ordered anybody to prostrate before any one, I would have ordered
women to prostrate before their husbands on account of men's rights over
the women ordained by Allah. (Mishkat al-Masabih, Section 'Duties of husband and wife', Hadith No. 70)
SEX FIRST & FEEDING THE CHILDREN LATER: The
prophet of Allah said: When a man calls his wife to satisfy his desire,
let her come to him though she is occupied at the oven. (Mishkat al-Masabih Book I, Section 'Duties of husband and wife', Hadith No. 61)
WIVES CAN BE GIFTED TO BROTHER MUSLIM AS COMODITIES: A man may say to his brother (in Islam), 'Have a look at either of my wives (and if you wish), I will divorce her for you. (Sahih Bukhari 7:10)
BE OBLIGED 24 HOURS TO YOUR HUSBAND IF YOU WANT PARADISE: Whosoever
female dies while her husband is pleased with her, will enter Paradise.
(Mishkat al-Masabih Book I, Section 'Duties of husband and wife',
Hadith No. ii, 60)
THE REAL PURPOSE OF BURQA OR NIQAAB?
All Muslims should read the following
very interesting hadiths that can be downloaded from the internet. I
have excerpted these elaborated hadiths due to the shortage of space.
1) UMAR; THE MAN BEHIND IMPOSITION OF BURQA OR NIQAAB: Two
men were instrumental in the imposition of veil on Muslim women. The
first one was Umar, who originated the hijaab, purely for his lust
toward slave-girls. The second person was our prophet Muhammad, who
approved it with Allah’s sanction, for his lust towards his newly
married Zainab, his ex-daughter-in-law.
Umar, a very close companion and the
second “RIGHTLY GUIDED” caliph as well as the father-in-law of Muhammad,
was a lustful person. He used to harass the slave-girls during night
hours, when they went out of the house for answering nature's call.
On a few occasions, he mistakenly harassed the free women in the
darkness, thinking that they were slave-girls, and they complained to
Muhammad. As Umar wanted to keep harassing the slave-girls, he asked the
prophet to ‘reveal’ a verse for imposing hija’b on the free Muslim
women, but not on the slave-girls. And new revelation came down
sanctioning the wearing of hija’b by free women on Umar’s demand. (see Sahih Al Bukhari 1:148, 8:257, 6:10, 6:313, 6:318)
I urge my dear sisters to refer all these hadiths, that I fetched it for you, from different sources.
Hijaab only for free women, not the slave-girls: We
Muslims generally think that Islam imposed hijaab for protecting the
women in general. Absolutely, not! In fact, its first sanction was meant
for the protection of only a small percentage of the women, namely the
four official wives of Muslim men. The vast number of women, the
slave-girls, the captive girls and kuffar women, were not supposed to
cover themselves with the Hijaab. And this was also to protect the
Muslim women from the lustful Muslim rascals. The slave women were not
allowed to cover their body, except a piece of skin sheet under their
waist. Here a story of Umar’s beating of a slave-women who wanted to
protect herself from the harassment of Muslim by wearing burqa:
Al-Musaiab bin Darum said: ‘I saw Umar holding a stick in his hand and striking a slave-girl’s head until her scarf came off, he then said: ‘Why does the slave assume the manners of free woman?’ (Tabaqat ibn Saad, 7:127; Kanz al-Umal, Vol. 15, p. 486, Hadith 41928; Tarikh Damisha, 58:191)
2) BURQA OR NIQAAB; THE RESULT OF IMPATIENT ‘YOUNG’ BRIDEGROOM MUHAMMAD: The verse regarding the veil or niqaab was the outcome of the frustration of the new bridegroom, our 58-year-old prophet, who was impatient to meet her new wife cum ex-daughter-in-law Zainab. (Sahih al-Bukhari 7:375 & 8:225; Quran Al-Ahzab 33:53)
(These hadiths are long. Please find
them from the internet using the hadith numbers or from your hadit
books. I assure you that you will quickly recognize how impatient our
newly-wed 58-year-old ‘young’ bridegroom Muhammad was to meet his
beautiful bride Zainab, also his daughter-in-law.)
WOMEN WERE COMMODITIES FOR THE ‘PIOUS’ SAHAABA OF MUHAMMAD
We Muslims are often told about the
sacrifices and piety of the ‘Sahaaba’-- companions of Prophet Muhammad
-- and that we cannot attain even 1/100th of their piety,
however hard we try. There are hundreds of hadiths that shows how
‘pious’ the Sahaaba were, some of which I have discussed in my previous
articles. The following few hadiths will also reveal the exceptionally
high level of piety of some of our prophet’s close companions. I like to
reiterate here that there are still lots of stuffs in Arabic that need
to be translated into other languages. Those are the real hadiths that
mirror the life of Muhammad and his Sahaba. What we are reading today
are either soft or watered-down version of their lives.
- Nafe’e narrated that whenever Ibn Umar wanted to buy a slave-girl, he would ‘inspect’ her by analyzing her legs and placing his hands between her breasts and on her buttocks” (Sunnan Al-Kubra, Vol. 5, p. 329 by Imaam Beyhaqi)
- 'Mujahid reported that ibn Umar placed his hand between (a slave-girl’s) breasts and shook them’ (Musnaf Abdur Razak, Vol. 7, p. 286, Tradition 13204)
- ‘Naf’e reported that when Ibn Umar wanted to buy a slave-girl he would place his hand on her buttocks, between her thighs, and may uncover her legs’ (Musanaf Ibn Abi Shayba, Vol. 4, p. 289, Tradition 20241)
- Mujahid said: ‘I was walking with ibn Umar in a slave market, then we saw some slave dealers gathered around one slave-girl and they were ‘checking’ her, when they saw Ibn Umar, they stopped and said: ‘Ibn Umar has arrived’. Then ibn Umar came closer to the slave-girl, he touched ‘some’ parts of her body and then said: ‘Who is the master of this slave-girl, she is just a commodity!’ (Musanaf ibn Abi Shayba, Vol. 4, p. 289, Tradition 20240)
CONCLUSION
Dear Muslim sisters! I often see some of
you walking on the road so proudly in your Burqa or Hijaab like a
princess of Arabia, which makes me rather uncomfortable, for I know the
dirty secrets behind the imposition of Hijaab on women in Islam. Those
of you reading this article, after knowing the same secrets, would also
find it laughable, indeed embarrassing that you are being forced to wear
the burqa for the unholy character of the holy prophet and his Sahaaba.
It is a gravely unfortunate for our Muslim sisters that over the past
1400 years, they have been carrying the burden and curse of the lustful
character of the holy Prophet and his virtuous companions.
I urge you again to study Islam, and
make your children to aware of what our real Islam is, and help
unshackle them from the cursed shackle of Islam. It is also the
responsibility of my Muslim brothers, who really respect human values,
to understand our beloved religion and free yourself along with your
family members.
The discussion will continue in next part of this article.
