President
Barack Obama was ready to order a military strike against Syria, with or
without Congress' blessing. But on Friday night, he suddenly changed his
mind.
In
response to the alleged chemical weapon attacks by Assad's government on
Syrian civilians, American and European governments have begun strategizing
for likely retaliatory strikes.
Is
Vladimir Putin working for Barack Obama?
I don't
know why the White House doesn't just send Syria's Bashar al-Assad a map of
where it intends to attack with Tomahawk and other missiles.
In fact,
however, President Bush went to war against Iraq after Congress passed a
resolution of support. At least Bush went to Congress for a vote.
Since the
first half of the 19th century, the general consensus of the great unwashed
has been that "modern" art is confusing, offensive, and
pointless.
The media
have been given important new and don't seem to know what to do with it.
Snowden has been "outed" by the Russians as their agent.
They don't
see any connection between America's economic fiasco and Obama
Administration policies.
It may be
sex in Brooklyn and power in Washington, but both of the tawdry spectacles
expose the elemental thing that is left behind when all virtues and values
fade away.
The
protest is "to warn the American people" about Gulen, "a man
even more dangerous than Osama Bin Laden."
