This will help get the message out further and faster.] This year, ACT! for America led the grassroots effort that helped get ALAC (American Laws for American Courts) passed in Oklahoma and North Carolina. ALAC is a state law that prohibits judges from applying foreign law, which can include sharia law, if doing so conflicts with the Constitution or constitutional rights. It’s a BIG DEAL. A very BIG DEAL. If it weren’t, Hamas-connected CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, wouldn’t be fighting so desperately to stop us. That makes six states where we’ve led the grassroots effort to pass ALAC – Tennessee, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Alabama and North Carolina. (Alabama’s ALAC, passed by the legislature, will go to the voters for approval in 2014.) One year ago in Kansas, a judge refused to use sharia law in a case because of the Kansas ALAC law. Would you like to see that happen in YOUR state??? Would you like your state added to the list of states that pass ALAC??? We have targeted two dozen states where we want to work to get ALAC passed in 2014. We’ve chosen these states for a variety of strategic reasons. For instance, Florida is at the top of the list. We got close last year and this year, getting ALAC passed in the House of Representatives but not getting a vote in the Senate. Missouri is also at the top of the list. We got it passed this year, but the governor vetoed it. We came within one vote of overriding his veto. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! WE NEED A STRONG GRASSROOTS VOICE TO HELP US PUSH ALAC THROUGH IN THESE OTHER STATES!!
