Being in July 1988 and lasting for five
months, Iranian revolutionary officials killed close to 30,000 political
prisoners. Great care was taken to keep the killings undercover but a
recently released audio tape recording the objection to the killings by one
of the Ayatollahs on the death committee has brought the subject into the
media. Those on the committee still are in places of power today. |

displaying their anger and frustration. The government allows certain groups
to push their beliefs on others and neither condemns it or encourages a
balance. Until they do this will continue or escalate, right or wrong.
