!! Merry Christmas !!
On behalf of everyone here at the ACT! family, we would like to wish “Merry Christmas” to all our members who celebrate Christmas and the birth of Christ.
May you enjoy an abundance of love, joy and blessing this special day and this special season, and may the angelic message of “Peace on earth, good will toward men” dwell in your hearts for the New Year!
Editor’s Note: Correction to yesterday’s email, “Making a difference”
In yesterday’s email, our choice of words mistakenly communicated that General MacArthur signed the surrender terms with Japan aboard an aircraft carrier:
The intent of this sentence was not to state that MacArthur signed the terms on an aircraft carrier, but to make a prediction regarding the possibility of such an event occurring in the future on an aircraft carrier. The word “like” was meant to refer to the ceremony itself, not where it took place. That distinction was not clear.
The sentence should have been written like this:
We apologize for the confusion created by the way the original sentence was written.
