“I am a human rights activist
dedicated to freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and individual rights for
all before the law. I fiercely oppose violence and the persecution and
oppression of minorities under supremacist law. I deplore violence and work for
the preservation of freedom of speech to avoid violent conflict.”

Embraces Jihad Terror
“Devotion
to jihad for the sake of Allah, and the desire to shed blood, to smash skulls,
and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah and in defense of His religion, is,
undoubtedly, an honor for the believer. Allah said that if a man fights the
infidels, the infidels will be unable to prepare to fight” .You may be
wondering if it was I or Pamela Geller who penned that hate-filled
misrepresentation of the beautiful Islamic doctrine of jihad. But in fact, it
was neither one of us. It was Mohammed al-Arefe, a Saudi Muslim cleric who
believes that shedding Infidel blood and smashing Infidel skulls is pleasing to
his god.
The presence of, say, Anjem Choudary, philosophical mentor of the
Woolwich head hackers and a man who calls for the murder of
the Prime Minister, is so “conducive to the public good” that British taxpayers
subsidize him generously and provide a half-million-dollar home for him to live
on. Mrs May’s Home Office has just admitted to the UK Muhhamed al-Arefe who advocates wife-beating. Perhaps
Mr May will try out Imam al-Arefe’s expert advice on the beneficial effects of
“light beating” on Theresa this weekend – or is spousal abuse only “conducive
to the public good” of Muslim women
The irony of the situation is rich. Geller and Spencer speak out
against the intolerance of Islam. Got that? They speak. They lecture. They
write books. Spencer’s written a shelf of them. Geller was behind a campaign to
place “defeat jihad” posters in New York subways. One of the reasons they were
traveling to the UK was to participate in a commemorative ceremony for Drummer Lee Rigby.
Remember him? He was the chap who, last month, was walking down a street in
Woolwich when two Muslims ran him down in a car and then stabbed and hacked him
to death with knives and a cleaver. Like the Earl of Strafford, their motto was
“thorough.” When these partisans of the religion of peace got through with him,
he had to be identified by dental records.
Shooting the Messenger
While every Islamist leader from around the
world has found asylum and taxpayer-funded homes in the UK, Robert Spencer and
Pamela Geller are too dangerous to allow into Londonistan. A Wikileaks cable
revealed that fear of offending Muslims convinced British governments to grant
asylum to Islamist leaders. And now fear of offending Muslims has convinced the
British government to keep out the people warning of the danger. Instead of
banning the terrorists, the UK has banned the messenger.
Lying and
Getting Away With It
British universities are
breeding-grounds of the most appalling hatred against America, the UK, Israel,
free-thinkers, "apostates," and religious and sexual minorities What
is worse, is that organizations who lie and lie and lie again can get away with
it.
Homegrown Terrorists,
Rebels in Search of a Cause
The Boston bombing has refocused public
attention on a steadily growing phenomenon the Obama administration has been
trying to sweep under the carpet: domestic Islamist terrorists whose
familiarity with American culture makes them more difficult to detect prior to
their acts of terror. By way of preventing similar attacks, therefore, it is
necessary not only to monitor terror networks but also to understand the
psychodynamics of the creation of "homegrown terrorists" in general,
and the appeal of radical Islam to "In-betweeners"—young persons in a
transitional phase in one or more key aspects of their lives—in particular.
Can Muslim Activism Be Done Right?
There is a real problem here that Volpe’s
article refuses to acknowledge. What these “moderates” or enlightened Muslims
are proposing, however laudable, has little to do with mainstream Islam, whose
fundamental scriptures cannot be rewritten on pain of apostasy and execution.
Any scrupulous reading of the Koran and the attendant canonical and
jurisprudential literature should make it amply clear that injunctions to
slaughter, conquest, oppression and domination are inscribed in the faith. No
attempt at what is euphemistically called “re-interpretation” or
“contextualizing” can be expected to gain even modest traction in the larger
Muslim world.
What jihad has cost Americans
Perhaps you’ve noticed. Every time there’s a jihadist attack,
whether foiled or successful, government leaders, media mouthpieces, Muslim
Brotherhood front organizations, and academic apologists bend over backwards
urging us not to rush to judgment. They collectively decry “Islamophobia” and
wring their hands in fear for all the Muslims who will now be persecuted by
“bigoted” Americans. It’s so predictable.
U.S. Keeps Joining the Forces of Jihad
The
sooner U.S. senior leadership realizes that, whether Shi'ite or Sunni, jihadis
fight for the same objectives — restoration of the Caliphate (or Imamate) and
enforcement of Islamic Law — the better for American core national security
interests.
Ottawa Muslims Call for
Sharia-Based Restrictions on Freedom of Speech
As most readers know, back in February Gavin Boby of the Law and Freedom Foundation visited
Ottawa to talk to interested Canadians about the need to stop the
building of new mosques, and how to use legal means to accomplish that purpose.
Gavin’s appearance at the Ottawa Public Library provoked controversy before,
during, and after his talk took place. CAIR-CAN tried to pressure the library
to cancel the event, but failed.
Hate Speech Provision in Human Rights Struck
Down
An Alberta MP has
succeeded in his bid to repeal a section of the Canadian Human Rights Act long
seen by free-speech advocates as a tool to squelch dissenting opinions.
Conservative MP Brian Storseth saw the Senate give third and final reading late
Wednesday to his Bill C-304 which repeals Section 13 of the Human Rights Act,
an act that had been used to, among other things, attack the writings of Sun
News Network's Ezra Levant and Maclean's columnist Mark Steyn.

Rona, Zainab,
Geeti and Sahar
On June 30, 2009, Zainab (19), Sahar (17) and Geeti
(13) Shafia and Rona Amir Mohammad (52), the older and childless first wife of
Mohammad Shafia, were found dead in a black Nissan Sentra at the bottom of the
Rideau Canal at Kingston Mills, Canada. The court determined that they had been
drowned, then placed in the vehicle, which was pushed into the canal.
On Sunday, January 29, 2012, the Ontario Superior
Court imposed mandatory sentences of life in prison with no chance of parole
for 25 years, on Mohammad Shafia, 58, his younger, second wife Tooba Yahya, 42,
and their son Hamed Shafia, 21. The trio were all found guilty of four counts
of first-degree murder.
Human Rights Watch defines "honor killings" as follows:
Honor killings are acts of vengeance,
usually death, committed by male family members against female family members,
who are held to have brought dishonor upon the family. A woman can be targeted
by (individuals within) her family for a variety of reasons, including:
refusing to enter into an arranged marriage, being the victim of a sexual assault, seeking a divorce—even from an abusive
husband—or (allegedly) committing adultery. The
mere perception that a woman has behaved in a way that "dishonors"
her family is sufficient to trigger an attack on her life.
Please watch
this excellent video of Charles Adler on honour killings
The four died at the hands of their family because they
committed
the “crime” of embracing Canada’s freedoms.
