MONTREAL MASSACRE - DECEMBER 6, 1989
WE
REMEMBER YOU
On December 6, 1989, 14 women were killed at the Ecole
Polytechnique in Montreal.
Almost immediately, the Montreal
massacre became a galvanizing moment in which mourning turned into
outrage above all violence against women. On October 9, 2012, Malala
Yousafai, a 14 year old Pakistani activist for girls’ education was shot in the
Swat Valley
in north-west Pakistan
by the Taliban. May we never
forget :

We remember them by continuing to fight to stop violence
against women and may we honour their memory by voting for Malala Yousafai to
win the Nobel Peace Prize.
