A
German convert dressed in army fatigues is shown talking monotonously
into the camera as he describes how he shunned his previous life of
wealth, drugs and cars.
Flanked by bored-looking
fellow Daesh fighters, the balaclava-clad German speaks in Arabic as he
tells how the Koran and Allah "saved" him from his previous life.
Somewhat
ironically, he also questions how Muslims can live in the West when
people "are being raped and tortured" in Syria, Somalia and Chechnya.
ISIS,
also known by its Arabic acronym Daesh, is renowned for its horrific
torture, including rape, of hostages and anyone who is not aligned with
their twisted interpretation of Islam.
The
footage then turns to a sparse living room decorated with an ominous
black ISIS flag where three men wearing suicide vests are hugged by
three others, their faces covered by a keffiyeh, a type of Middle
Eastern scarf.
It is accompanied by a caption which says: "Goodbye to the Companions."
Moments
later the video shows a settlement exploding in the dark of night,
apparently footage of the suicide bombers blowing themselves up.
The
terror group's media wing, al-Furat - dubbed The Knights of the
Shahadda 2 - released the footage as British MPs took part in a full-day
debate on airstrikes on ISIS in Syria which ended in the majority
voting for the motion.
The German jihadist said:
"I was very rich, earned a lot of money, drove a lot of cars and
experienced everything - drugs, discos, parties, all of life.
"Thanks Allah for guidance, I took up the Koran and the teachings of the Prophet and that satisfied my heart.
"Allah says often in the Korean life on this earth is deceptive. Life is deceptive.
