This was
the scene not very long ago at Fort Lauderdale Airport.
At least five people died and eight others were hospitalized after a
gunman opened fire at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on
Friday, according to officials. The suspect was arrested. At least five
people died and either were hurt in the incident, but at least 37

Department.
Islam. Making
life better for everyone.
It has now been definitively established that Esteban Santiago, who
opened fire in the baggage claim area of the Fort Lauderdale Airport on
January 6, murdering five people, was a convert to Islam who took the
name Aashiq Hammad, downloaded jihadist material and recorded himself
singing the Islamic confession of faith.
Where
better to protest in favor of bringing more Muslims to America?
Hundreds of people converged on South Florida's
three main airports Sunday to protest President Donald Trump's executive
order temporarily banning refugees, visa holders, and green-card
holders from seven majority Muslim nations, from entering the United
States.
Similar protests were held at more than 30 airports
nationwide. Officials said the Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports do not
have direct flights from the seven countries — Iraq, Syria, Iran,
Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
Why let a little thing like facts get in the way of your sanctimonious tantrum.
At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, about 100 people
held posters, shouted from bullhorns and yelled slogans outside baggage
claim at Terminal 4.
"Trump is claiming its to protect us
from terrorism, but these are the people who are running from
terrorism," said Gibson, 60, an activist and freelance writer from
Coconut Creek.
The people running from terrorism were at the airport.
