USAA
threatens to sue Florida Family Association over emails it received regarding
HuffPost. Please
send NEW email.
Unlike the other 734 companies that Florida Family Association and its supporters have contacted regarding advertising at HuffPost, USAA has threatened to sue Florida Family Association. USAA’s desire to advertise at Huffingtonpost.com is apparently strong enough that it is willing to threaten a pro-family, pro-America non-profit organization with legal action for providing the public with the opportunity to express concern to the company regarding its advertising choices. USAA’s continued advertising support for HuffPost given the news site’s anti-Military, Islamist propaganda prompted Florida Family Association to send out two email alerts and post an article at Floridafamily.org. USAA legal counsel issued a letter which demanded that Florida Family Association stop sending emails to its officers and directors that expressed concern regarding USAA’s advertising support for HuffPost. Florida Family Association issued a reply letter to USAA after the letter was reviewed by its legal counsel. No other company, out of the more than 3,500 companies that Florida Family Association has communicated with in the past 16 years, has threatened to quash its and its supporters’ First Amendment rights. Additionally, none of the other 734 companies that Florida Family Association has communicated with regarding advertising at huffingtonpost.com have threatened to sue. In fact, 711 of these 735 companies stopped supporting the news site’s propaganda. Florida Family Association has documented that Medimatters.org continues to list USAA on its website for people to protest USAA’s advertising with Laura Ingraham. It is logical to assume that USAA has not sued Media Matters since such a case would have garnered massive attention from the leftist drive-by media. USAA certainly has the right to advertise in whatever forum it chooses. You have the same right to voice concern regarding the content on such forums and choose insurance companies that will not spend your consumer dollars supporting Islamist propaganda.. Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to USAA officers and directors. Please feel free to change the wording. Click here to send your email to USAA officials.
