British bombs won't work as ISIS fighters are so mad they think they live in the MATRIX

ISLAMIC State (ISIS) fighters are so mad that they think they are living in the sci-fi movie The MATRIX, a former hostage of the terror group has revealed.

ISIS fighters believe they are living in the Matrix

Deluded jihadis believe their so-called Caliphate is a parallel universe similar to the world featured in the hit Hollywood movie series, according to Nicolas Henin.

The French journalist, who was guarded by Jihadi John during his time in an ISIS prison, said the crazed militants are "out of their minds" and insisted they will not be frightened by the prospect of British airstrikes.

Giving a fascinating insight into the jihadis' warped mindset, he said the only way their "mad prophecy" can be defeated is to stop western and Russian booming of Syria altogether.
Mr Henin, who was held by ISIS for 10 months, made the comments in a video pleading with British MPs not to authorise fresh airstrikes on the terror group.

Parliament will vote today on a Government motion approving RAF action in Syria, with the first British bombs expected to fall on ISIS" capital Raqqa within hours of it being approved.
But Mr Henin said the crazed militants will only welcome more bombing.

He said: "They have a vision of the world that is self-coherent. The point is that vision is like a parallel world.

"One of these western jihadis was always telling me about the movie the Matrix. Telling me 'oh now we are living in a different matrix, we left the matrix'.

"And it's very much like this. They follow the news intensively and every single event that happens in the world, they will see it as confirmation of their belief.

"Because they believe in a kind of mad prophecy that there will be a global confrontation that will bring a coalition of 80 armies against an army of Muslims coming from all over the world.
"It's a good example of the fact that these people are a bit out of their minds."
