liberal democracies) has been rife with conflict and bloodshed due to
the interpretations of holy texts leading to violent Jihads.
Will Islam go through an enlightenment anytime soon? Will Islam, like many other religions in the past, embrace the good aspects of secularism. Or is Islam forever doomed to be in contention with the West.
