REVIVING THE ISLAMIC SPIRIT CONVENTION
URGENT
REQUEST
Please take
the time to write Prime Minister Harper and state your displeasure at the
upcoming “Reviving the Islamic Spirit Convention” and ask him politely to not
issue a welcoming statement as he did in 2011. Instead he should be encouraged
to comment on the inappropriateness of Justin Trudeau standing with 3 speakers
who have supported Hamas in the past and promoted an Islamic conquest of the
West.

Dear Prime Minister Harper,
I urge you and your Government to refrain from issuing any welcoming
statements to the “Reviving the Islamic Spirit Convention” next Saturday, Dec.
22. IRFAN, one of the main sponsors of the event has had
its charitable status revoked last year for having funded Hamas and a
second sponsor (Islamic Relief) admits that some of its charity money
goes for the funding of jihad on its own website. Tariq Ramadan, one of
the main speakers at the event, has openly promoted, in Dallas last year, a
"Muslim colonization" of the US. Other speakers have
expressed similar views. The danger of "Islamicism" to which you
referred a few months ago is not limited to armed jihad. It also includes the
seditious activities promoted by the Islamists.
As Salma Siddiqui of the Muslim Canadian Congress noted: “Those who
endorse the Convention in Toronto
unwittingly validate homophobia and misogyny that is practiced widely by
Islamists under the guise of multiculturalism.” I enjoin you not to give any
backing or validation to the implementation of Sharia in Canada.
Yours sincerely,
