Florida Family Association Facebook Huffington Post propaganda mocks, belittles and blames people who are concerned about radical Islam in a manner that impairs the willingness of some people to speak up for public safety. Their propaganda erroneously blames alleged Islamophobia for the worldwide conflict between Muslims and infidels. This email provides three Huffington Post articles as examples of their propaganda. FIRST EXAMPLE: The Huffington Post published a report on October 12, 2016 titled Islamophobia Just Drove This Boy And His Family Out Of America. “I’m done with the U.S.,” Zeeshan-ul-hassan Usmani’s wife told him on Friday. Seeing her youngest son, just 7 years old, walk off the school bus bruised and battered that afternoon outside their apartment building in Cary, North Carolina, was the final straw. However, The News & Observer published a news report on October 14, 2016 titled Investigators find no evidence Muslim child was attacked on school bus. The Wake County school system and the Cary Police Department say they haven’t found evidence that a 7-year-old Muslim student was assaulted by classmates on a school bus last week. “At this time, the information from the investigation does not support an altercation,” Weatherstone Principal Tim Chadwick told parents in a letter sent Thursday. “In fact, we are not able to corroborate much of what is described in the release.” The Cary Police Department has been investigating the allegations as well. “At this time, nothing has been found, and no police report has been filed,” Cary Town Manager Sean R. SECOND EXAMPLE: The Huffington Post published an article on October 6, 2016 that is headlined: Let’s Talk About All That Anti-Muslim Garbage In Your Newsfeeds. The Columbia Journalism Review documented the “widespread” posting of such anti-Muslim memes over the last year, as well as the use of hashtags like #banislam, #killmuslims, #attackamosque, #bansharia and #islamisterror. Facebook and Twitter have become platforms where people who “actively believe in the extermination of Muslims... are not afraid to state their views in public,” according to the CJR report published last month. And it’s not just your crazy ― but lovable ― uncle sharing these memes. It’s your school board chairwoman, your town council member, your postal worker and your state’s agricultural commissioner. These memes would have you believe that the Quran compels Muslims to violence, that Muslims want to take over the U.S. and implement (gasp!) Sharia, that Islam hates women, and that all Arabs are Muslim and all Muslims are Arab. In short, these posts are garbage. However, listed below are a few passages from the Quran that clearly compel Muslims to violence. Quran 2:191 “Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Quran 3:28 “Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Quran 3:85 “Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Quran 5:33 “Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam.” Quran 8:12 “Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Quran.” Quran 8:60 “Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Quran 8:65 “The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Quran 9:50 “When opportunity arises kill the infidels where you find them.” Quran 9:30 "The Jews and Christians are perverts, fight them." Quran 9:123 “Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Quran 22:19 “Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water, melt their skin and bellies. Quran 47:4 “Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them.” Ignoring the fact that the Quran, including the above passages, are taught in mosques across America does not reduce the impact on the minds of their followers. THIRD EXAMPLE The Huffington Post published an article on Apri1 26, 2016 titled Did Jesus Predict Muhammad? A Biblical Portal Between Christianity and Islam. The article states in part: The time has come for Christians and Muslims to make peace between our communities. Our planet simply cannot afford another century of misunderstanding and violence between these two communities. In an earlier blog on the Huffington Post about the problem of Christian Islamophobia, I argue that Christians have the opportunity to transform the way we see Islam and Muslims by accepting Muhammad as “Spirit of Truth.” Historically, most Christian theologians—including John of Damascus, Thomas Aquinas, Dante, Nicholas of Cusa, and Martin Luther—have seen Muhammad not as a “Spirit of Truth” but as a “Spirit of Error,” a false prophet or heretic. There are many Christians today who respect the Islamic tradition and would never make such an offensive statement about Muhammad. However, the majority of Christians still maintain a fundamentally Islamophobic position on Muhammad. So I believe that the time has come for peacemaking Christians to contradict this position directly. Changing our view of Muhammad—so that we recognize him as a true prophet rather than discredit him as a false prophet—would effectively inoculate Christians against Islamophobia and would help to establish a new paradigm of cooperative Christian-Muslim relations. …. There is no better candidate than Muhammad, no one in fact that comes even close, in terms of fulfilling Jesus’s promise of the Spirit of Truth who would bring forth a new revelation from God. I do not have space in this article to explore the many Qur’anic verses directly addressed to Christians, but if we were to receive them our religion would be transformed for the better and would come into balance with Judaism and Islam. Click here to read the full article. The Huffington Post article: • Erroneously blames alleged Christian Islamophobia for the worldwide conflict between Muslims and infidels. • Dangerously perverts the Holy Scriptures of the Bible to falsely elevate Muhammad to a Judaic Christian status. • Tragically ignores the millions of Muslims around the world who support the killing of hundreds of thousands of Christians. The Religionofpeace.com provides a detailed report of Muslims killing Christians. While Muslims are killing hundreds of thousands of Christians around the world the Huffington Post article has the audacity to write “Our planet simply cannot afford another century of misunderstanding and violence between these two communities.” WHAT violence do Christians appear to be committing against Muslims suggested by the Huffington Post article? That would be Islamophobia which is the derogatory term that is used to harshly label and intimidate people out of their rational, fact based concern that Islamists use violence and Sharia law to advance their political agenda. TheReligionofPeace.com reported on May 18, 2016: Islamic Terrorists Have Carried Out more than 28,386 Deadly Terror Attacks Since 9/11 Jihad Report Last 30 Days Attacks 179 Killed 1496 Injured 2154 Suicide Blasts 35 Countries 23 Weekly Report May 07, 2016 thru May 13, 2016 Attacks 42 Killed 433 Injured 454 Suicide Blasts 15 Countries 16 Yet, the Huffington Post article has the audacity to blame Islamophobic Christians for the worldwide conflict between Muslims and Infidels.
