May 2017 Update.
Florida Family Association is taking action across America on several fronts thanks to your support.

Florida Family Association’s campaign continues to urge seventeen judges on the 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a Maryland federal court order that halted President Trump’s travel ban.  The full circuit court, all seventeen justices, are reviewing the appeal.  Thousands of people sent emails through Florida Family Association’s email center to each of the seventeen judges urging them to make public safety a priority over politics by reversing the district court’s restraining order.

The National Law Journal reported
Group Floods Fourth Circuit Judges With Pro Travel Ban Emails

A conservative group is flooding inboxes of judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit urging them to support President Donald Trump's travel ban, a tactic that's raising some eyebrows while potentially ticking off the bench.

The Florida Family Association claims it has sent thousands of emails to each judge urging them to overturn a U.S. district court decision in Maryland that implemented the injunction. On Wednesday, the Fourth Circuit clerk filed a rare notice alerting the attorneys that judges are receiving emails from outside parties.

FFA founder and president David Caton said he believes email campaigns are an effective tool to sway judicial decisions.  Caton estimated that roughly 7,500 emails have been sent to each of the 17 judges since the campaign began on March 27.

The Fourth Circuit is currently mulling whether to consider the travel ban case en banc — oral arguments are scheduled for May 8.

The appellate court started blocking emails that people were sending to the judges through the Florida Family Association action email center.  We responded to the block by changing the email delivery format to use the senders’ own email software.  Oral argument is scheduled for May 8, 2017.  The campaign will continue until the court’s final ruling on or after May 8, 2017.

Muslim Professor Areeje Zufari resigned from Rollins College a week after the college reinstated Christian student Marshall Polston.  Rollins College suspended Marshall Polston after he challenged Professor Zufari’s Islamist viewpoints.  Florida Family Association sent out email alerts on and after March 29, 2017 that encouraged thousands of people to send emails to a dozen Rollins College Board of Trustees urging them to reinstate student Marshall Polston and reprimand Professor Areeje Zufari.  After Rollins College reinstated Mr. Polston, we sent out more email alerts that urged Rollins College’s Board of Trustees to terminate Professor Areej Zufari based upon her defamatory actions toward Mr. Polston, grossly unprofessional conduct and filing false reports to the college and police.  Florida Family Association was the only organization that targeted Rollins College Board of Trustees with emails.  We are considering more action on this issue.

Florida Family Association continues to influence more and more companies to stop supporting pro-Islamist web sites with advertising dollars.  Our numbers continue to grow.

•    Four hundred (400) out of four hundred twenty two (422) companies have stopped advertising at Huffingtonpost.com since Florida Family Association started contacting advertisers in April 2016.  Ninety five percent (95%) of the companies stopped advertising as of April 30, 2017.   We have eight (8) ongoing email campaigns that target companies who are advertising at Huffingtonpost.com.

•    Eighty seven (87) out of ninety three (93) companies have stopped advertising at Aljazeer.com since Florida Family Association started contacting advertisers in February 2017.  Ninety four percent (94%) of the companies stopped advertising as of April 30, 2017.   We do not have any email campaigns targeting companies that advertise on Aljazeera.com at this time because of the strategy that we are following.

•    It appears that Google has started using three websites Blackfridaycity.com, Exploreshops.net and Usstoresavers.com to resell advertising on Huffingtonpost.com and Aljazeera.com to multiple companies in one ad space.  We are contacting these third party advertisers.

Federal judges have finally approved a settlement agreement to a Muslim lawsuit that tried to stop the NYPD from surveilling mosques.  Mohammad Elshinawy, Asad Dandia, Masjid At-Taqwa, Masjid Al-Ansar, Muslims Giving Back and Hamid Raza sued the City of New York in an attempt to stop the New York Police Department from surveilling Muslims and mosques.  More than 22,000 people sent emails through the Florida Family Association action email server that urged the judges overseeing the case and New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio to put public safety first by preserving the New York Police Department as the first line of defense against terrorism in America.  On March 19, 2017, the last of two judges approved the settlement agreement which essentially allows the NYPD, which has led the country for years in the fight against terrorism, to continue to investigate potential terrorism.

Florida Family Association started a campaign on May 1st to encourage the owner of Norwalk Inn not to host Hamas-Muslim Brotherhood linked CAIR fundraisers and banquets in the future.  The Council on American Islamic Relations of Connecticut (CAIR-CT) will hold a fundraiser on May 6, 2017 at Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue, Norwalk, Connecticut 06851.  Khizr Khan will be their guest speaker.  Breitbart reported the following in part regarding Khizr Khan.  “Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that the mainstream media and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been using to criticize Donald J. Trump, has deep ties to the government of Saudi Arabia—and to international Islamist investors through his own law firm. In addition to those ties to the wealthy Islamist nation, Khan also has ties to controversial immigration programs that wealthy foreigners can use to essentially buy their way into the United States—and has deep ties to the “Clinton Cash” narrative through the Clinton Foundation.

We are involved in and planning numerous other campaigns the results of which we hope to report in upcoming updates.  In many cases, Florida Family Association is the only organization in the country deploying email campaigns to confront Corporate America regarding Islamist issues.  We are able to do this because we do not rely on web advertising dollars or contributions from Corporate America to fund our operations.  Instead, our operations depend totally on donations from individuals.  This makes us independent and free to address issues involving any company.

Your support is very important to our ability to continue the fight.
