Death Toll In UK Parliament Terror Attack Rises




The death toll has risen in the aftermath of the horrific terrorist attack in London.

Authorities now confirm that 5 people are dead, and around 40 are wounded.
According to Reuters, the dead include a police officer, three victims hit by the attacker when he mowed people down on Westminster Bridge, and the attacker himself.

The fallen police officer has been identified as Keith Palmer.

The name of the suspected terrorist attacker has not been released by authorities, but a photo of him has emerged.

Attack fits ISIS pattern

The use of a car as a weapon of terror fits with ISIS tactics, as horrifically demonstrated in France and Germany.
Some media outlets have reported that Islamic extremist websites are celebrating the attack.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May calls attack “sick and depraved”

The UK Prime Minister spoke after the attack, calling it “sick and depraved.”

May also said, “The location of this attack was no accident. The terrorist chose to strike at the heart of our capital city, where people of all nationalities, religions and cultures come together to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech.”
