The clashes are currently ongoing, but pictures circulating
online appear to show jihadist forces openly moving about the city. At least
one policemen is reported killed and five soldiers wounded so far.

A bomb killed at least 22 people and wounded 59 others at the
Manchester Arena in Britain last night. The Islamic State has claimed
responsibility for the bombing.

supporting al Qaeda.

In a newly released video, Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Ali Mahmoud
Rage addresses graduates of a training camp for foreign fighters.
"Many" of the graduates are from Kenya and, Rage says, they should
form an "army that will conquer Kenya so that we may return to our
families and relatives in a state of honor and glory."
